thinking about the rebels again...

first of all: big fan of mc x french rebel, i think they have an interesting dynamic (might have hallucinated it tho)

and also, mc being a fan of the space reds kinda suggest he probably grew up in the empire hearing about this "super powerful and dangerous communist faction that somehow managed to break off from the empire and had the power to topple the entire system" like, real red scare type shit and since he's a fan of revolution he obviously ended up idolizing instead of fearing them. I like to think that french rebel was like, mortified hearing this cause that is not AT ALL what he's seen from the space reds
