ok but who doesn’t want southern gothic modern supernatural hades & persephone? no one, that’s who. which is why this is gonna be a v brief. v open req for a love interest for theia, a soft-hearted, kind, optimistic (unfailingly so) grim who can occasionally be a bit feisty. theia had a v weird upbringing (that i haven’t 100% figured out her) in the hale family, which was basically a weird pseudo-cult because her dad liked powerful things, so he collected a bunch of kids for that but anyway! theia’s his only biological child, and despite the fact that she’s seen some weird shit, she’s still sort of soft, squishy and naive about the world. (being ridiculously sheltered was one way her father controlled her). hades on the other hand, is the complete opposite. where she grew up in darkness and managed to be the light, the darkness swallowed him whole. he may not be completely terrible or cruel, but that’s the way people see him, and he uses it to his advantage. (in greek myth, hades was actually a pretty cool dude, but y’know, bastardizing it bc i can~) he’s not a ‘good person’ by any means of the imagination, and is probably beyond retribution, but theia sees good in him, somehow. how they meet is totally up in the air, but going on myth ideas, it would be funny if hades was a criminal (crime lord? idek where i’m going with this req anymore tbh), and he was supposed to ‘acquire’ (kidnap) someone else, and mistakenly brought theia (or had theia brought) and she just sort of shrugs it off like it’s no biggie, and is very non judgemental about the whole situation and then he tries to keep her there or makes excuses so that she can stay but ANYWAY this is a long request now for something i don’t even have fully formed in my head yet so imma cut this off now before i sound like more of an idiot~
tldr; modern weird hades/persephone, good girl/bad dude, dark/light, sweet and angsty, all of the trash probably kinky who even knows uh also at least in his 30s age-wise? theia’s in her late 20s (maybe 30? idk yet) so older than that or around that? sanguine witch or vampire could be cool, but i’m also not super picky? i have a huge list of face ideas but i’m pm cool with anyone~ and now i’m forreal gonna shut up. and probably scrap this whole thing later
