Can I ask something? I ship only Caryl; they r everything TWD. I just struggle understanding how they will do a kiss scene/attempt at a kiss scene. I'm a perfectionist. A pair as complex as them need an 'original' climax to that. They are both middle aged abuse survivors in a post apocalyptic world. Giving them a Gleggie/Richonne/ShanexLori hookup would feel anti-climatic. I know Carylers will accept anything in that bone at this point, but still. They are the best. They deserve the best.

They do indeed, especially considering how long their relationship has taken to develop. I can’t be sure that we will all be satisfied if/when the time arrives, but I have faith that a lot of thought and effort will be put into it. I definitely don’t think we need to worry about regurgitating another couple’s scenes. The moments we see between Gleggie and Richonne belong to Gleggie and Richonne respectively, just like the moments we see between Caryl belong to them. Good writers know not to give those away.

twd ships - Caryl

I guess it’s a TWD writing thing on what they do with couples/romance. Like the ships on the show are not dramatic and soap opera-ish than like most shows. We tend to know already know who are big ships..the canon ships. There are rarely love triangles. If there is one, we know which ones are endgame. Idk..I always liked how TWD writing always seems like realistic/relatable and slow and serious. (Of course there’s some flaws in the writing.)

I feel like Caryl was always canon. Like we know it’s always them and no matter how it goes, they’re endgame.

If/When Caryl does go canon, like showing everyone and confirming they’re a couple, I want it to be subtle. Or, like I want it to not everyone/the fans say and celebrate out loud that they’re canon. Because, they’re not like the other ships. They’re like special and subtle and gentle. They’re soulmates. I guess to say it out loud later on that they’re canon, it would be weird because they’re already canon or that the moments before they’re canon wasn’t that special. But, all those moments are special ever since.
