I’M DYING WITH LAUGHING
I CAN’T BE THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS SO HERE IT GOES
This is a wagtail (трясогузка in Russian). my favourite bird btw
If you haven’t ever seen one, I’ll explain. As it is stated in the name, these birds are wagging their long tails up and down pretty often.
Recently my husband and I were on a walk and saw one. And when we saw it, this conversation happened...
Me: Oh! Look, трясогузка (a wagtail)!
Husband: Yeah, pretty one.
*a few minutes later*
Husband: And how трясогузка (a wagtail) will be in English?
Me: U-u-um... dunno...
Me: *processing*
Husband: *processing*
Husband: A twerkbird?
