Hi, my name is Viktoriia, but you can call me Heldig. :3 I’m 30, she/her. I’m a writer, a translator (RUS/ENG) and a bit of an artist.

✨ Fandoms I’m mostly tracking: Slayers (anime & novels), Lackadaisy, Undertale/Deltarune, Elfquest & ATLA/LOK, but almost any animated/comic/game universe is acceptable and can suddenly grab my attention. I'm familiar with a lot of things, and the fact that I don't track what's going on in a particular fandom doesn't mean I don't like the thing itself, so, if you want to discuss something with me, you can simply ask if I've seen it. :3

✨ My blog contains my arts/writings/translations, life stories about me, my husband Andrew and my friends, and reblogs of the things I truly enjoy, including various fandom things and silly memes. Also since 2016 I mostly have been working on my own novel “Сказка Хрустальных гор” (A Tale of the Crystal Mountains) that I plan to finish and, hopefully, publish fully in 2026, so rarely I'll also post some stuff about the work process.

Well, unfortunately, my prognosis came true, but still! Happy birthday to my dear girl Maura, who gifted me so many wonderful moments ✨❤️✨ Today she would've been 121 IRL years old, and she's also 3 years old as a character :3

Despite how unlikely it realistically would've been, I really wish her a happy and cozy life with her beloved ones. She's a stoic fighter, but not because she literally beats people, not at all. It's because she's facing all the hardships of life, all exhausting routine and grim turns of events and still finds inner forces to bear with it. Avoiding harming anyone instead of choosing violence, because the world is already enough of a sad and harsh place to be to bring there more suffering. A smile, a joke, a pun here, a wise saying there, and we'll manage by hard work and sheer will — that's her approach. I admire that trait and hope that she lifts your spirit just as she usually lifts mine.

Hmm. I guess Atlantis: The Lost Tales (1997). I tried to play it when I was ~18 y.o., because it was the only game in the Atlantis series I didn't play to. But... the game is, well, only two years younger than me and by the time I decided to close that gestalt there were some impassable obstacles for that. xDD For example, it was impossible to get the actual CDs, so I found only ONE pack of disk images on the Internet. Yet Daemon Tools didn't want to launch it, so I burned the game on 4 physical CDs (just as it was sold back when the game was published), installed and launched it (with the help of Chthonic deities, no less)... yet the game still crashed when I already got through around 60% of it. No matter what I did, it stayed the same. So I dropped it and still regret that my Atlantis adventure isn't fully completed.

This year is maximally contrast to the previous one — I had almost no time and almost no opportunities to draw. Most of the things ended up unfinished. But almost all the finished arts here were made for the wonderful people around me in the Lackadaisy fandom, so that's a pro.

I also adjusted to Procreate better, tried a few new styles and solidified the fact that I love card-type arts more than anything. Those are pros, too.

And as usually, hewwo! That's me in the middle! Upgraded with glasses since May 😎

Btw, on the server I play the name Filia (Филия in Russian) was also already taken, so I also wrote it differently, Fillia (Филлиа)! But it warms my heart to know that somewhere exists more people who play for Slayers characters in WoW 😁

At the end of the year I decided to drop out all the scribbles and wips of various degrees of readiness that I can't finish since March or even earlier and definitely won't finish before the year ends (unless by some miracle the Time Turner suddenly falls onto my head, hahah xDD). Just for the history and as a reminder for myself — maybe I'll have time to lay my hands on them properly next year. :3

Mau and RoMaunce stuff

This year I craved as much tender RoMaunce as I could get. The quiet melancholy which is lit by a thin ray of hope — that's how I could describe the mood. Their little dance in the night sky among the stars will someday become much more prominent and continuous, but for now a few steps is enough. I also compiled some peeks to Mau's youth and scribbled the sudden image of her as either a blue canary or the blue bird — symbols of unreachable freedom, happiness and love that is a major cross-cutting theme that runs deep in Maura's character.

l𖦹g.OS stuff

Bell found Manolo who ran out of time — Umbra's system spares no one when it comes to time management, and if you're a lighthearted kid... the consequences may be especially harsh. Sleep well, little sunshine. Meanwhile, Gai and Lanser gain their final visual forms. A visionary captain of the main afterlife crew and a self-proclaimed dead space lol space investigator who can find a way even through nowhere and effortlessly fit into every hole (both literally and figuratively)... both of whom disappeared way before the story begins, leaving Bell to deal with all the troubles.

Other various OC's stuff

These girls gradually invaded fandom spaces in my head, so I fleshed them out... kind of. x)) Anyway, their little stories hold a special place in my heart. :3
