It always bemuses me just how quickly people and stores pull down their rainbow flags as soon as Pride month is over. I thought things would be a little different in New York -- and they are, to an extent -- but I stopped by my favourite bakery on the way home yesterday to find that they had already taken their flags down. Can you believe that? Though, I have to admit, I still bought a cronut from them. They are truly my kryptonite.

I had the best first day at theatre camp today. It was absolute chaos, and I've never seen a game of telephone go so wrong in my life, but I absolutely loved it. The kids were all incredibly creative and confident, and we even did a little show circle at the end. I did get the feeling that a few of the moms were judging my Nightbird costume a little, but the kids loved it, and there was even a tourist family that wanted to take a picture with me on my way home, so they can judge all they want. Dressing up for work was a one-time thing anyway, so we'll see if they like my bow ties better. But enough of me rambling about my day — how are you guys? I'd love to hear what everyone has been up to.

Sometimes I think to myself, was three dogs a bad decision? Maybe to some people, but for me it's been great. Ever since I got Rookie, Jett and Nora have come right out of their shells.

There’s never a dull moment on the NYC subway system. Today someone decided they were going to start a campfire and cook s’mores in the middle of it. Some people have lives. Go do that shit in Central Park.  @talkwithgleeksstarters​

Training camps are fun, but I’m really looking forward to the actual football season this year. I’m really grateful for the opportunities I have here at Ohio State. @talkwithgleeksstarters​

the ac at the loft has been on the fritz the last couple days and probably won't get fixed until monday. if anyone has tips on staying cool that don't involve nudity, please feel free to share because i am absolutely miserable.
