its redraw time! This is actually one year to the exact day that I drew the last one! I was almost too embarrassed by the 2018 one to post it aslkdfahsd but i guess it shows improvement?? Anyways, it’s my take on an adult Jacen Syndulla! I don’t think it’s that hot of take, I’ve actually seen designs quite similar to it but I like it! I remember being super pleased with my drawing last year. This year, though I am happy with the improvement, I’m definitely not satisfied with the new piece. I am able to see a lot more mistakes now and see what doesn’t look right, but still lack the artistic ability to fix it if that makes sense. I’ve reached that point in my art where i’m super aware of what looks good and what doesn’t but not at the point yet where I know how to fix it. It’s super frustrating, and results in low confidence in myself and my art, but I’m not giving up! hopefully I can do this again next year and we’ll see even more improvement.

Things I’d Be Happy To Never See in Star Wars Again (For A Good Decade At Minimum)

1) Tatooine 2) Sinister Caves™ 3) Using random encounters with wild animals to thin-out the extras in the cast (the climax of Season 1 of the Mandalorian inexplicably does this, and Clone Wars uses it whenever it thinks there’s too many clones in any given shot) 4) Tatooine 5) Surviving a shootout despite standing out in the open and not taking cover because the enemy only aims when its narratively critical 6) Lightsaber users conveniently forgetting they have a laser sword that easily cuts through essentially anything 7) Villains being surprised when their cunning plan to pit a Jedi against a large monster fails after the Jedi remembers to use their sword that can easily cut through essentially anything to easily cut through the large monster. 8) The desert worlds of Not-Tatooine, Pseudo-Tatooine, and Quasi-Tatooine (I will accept a dessert world, though. That sounds cool.) 9) Stupid, useless, actively incompetent droids keeping their jobs and not being replaced like you would a faulty toaster. 10) Villains pitting Jedi against large monsters. 11) Twi’leks without French accents. 12) Tatooine
