-Kirby has tHE MOST ADORABLE SMILE IN THE WORLD, I TELL YA! His smile's bright enough to light a dark room, no need for a lightbulb! Honestly, Kirby's smiles are like a cure-all for me.

6. Gush about your F/O's laugh!

-*cries* It's like music to my ears... The moment I hear him laugh, it's as if all my sadness gets taken away. He's literally a perfect ball of sunshine I can't even--;w;

16. Gush about your F/O's cuddles!

-It's like holding a really soft pillow~ like, if I ever need a hug? Kirby's there, he also give the best hugs!

5. Gush about the little things your F/O does when they're thinking really hard about something!

-Sometimes when Jade's really deep in thought, I often hear him mumbling to himself, and in rare cases, I--unintentionally-- catch him in the act. When he notices me, it causes him to blush, which is a rarer case. It's really cute.

11. Gush about your favorite chapter/book/episode/scene etc. that your F/O is in!

-This is a really good one, because Jade has a lotta good moments (that don't involve him trolling someone). But if I had to pick one, it's this one subtle moment where the gang was at Daath: him considering Luke a friend, despite everything that happened prior (I'd explain, but it's MASSIVE spoilers for Tales of the Abyss!). That part hit me in the feels...*cries again*

lonely- favorite song in a pokemon game?

i think volo's battle theme is DEFINITELY up there but i'm also biased (it's a banger however) but besides that i can list several more. sootopolis city, sada/turo, route 216 sinnoh, route 10 unova, jubilife city, any variation of n's theme but i especially love the bridge/castle versions... i could be here all day honestly, pokemon absolutely never misses with its impeccable soundtracks

hardy- what was your first pokemon game and when?

my first mainline game was sapphire, but the actual first pokemon-related title that i remember getting into was hey you pikachu on the n64 LMAO... i started off with the spin-offs and played ones like colosseum, xd, stadium, channel, etc before finally getting engrossed in the mainstream titles around the time that diamond/pearl came out, but i got swept up in hoenn first since it's the generation i grew up with :)

sassy- what would be your favorite pokemon food?

i've always wanted to try one of those little confections you feed to your 'mons in gen 6...... they're so cutely designed. also poffins even though the process of making them in-game has murdered my poor wrist more times than i can count.

gentle- if you were a pokemon trainer, how would you take your journey?

i think i'd definitely focus on the adventuring/bonding aspect over the gym challenge. like, i'd still do it but it's something i'd take my time with since my favorite part about the games is exploration. i'd take my sweet time steadily training my team and exploring every nook and cranny of the region. i'm also an active shiny hunter so it'd be so funny to see how that would translate to like, an actual in-world experience. working up some incredible calf muscles with all the bicycling i do fruitlessly hatching thousands upon thousands of eggs. honestly i could see myself being more so along the lines of a professor's assistant or researcher as opposed to a hardcore battler. oh, and i'd be ransacking every boutique available to me :)

WIP game: tremor, giddy, style!

Oh these were fun! Thank you for playing!

Tremor: This one's coming from my Hobbit WIP, How Far Ahead the Road Had Gone. I had to go quite a ways into the future of the fic to find it, but while I was looking I found a place where using 'tremor' would fit wonderfully as a descriptive word. But putting it in a new sentence felt like cheating a little, so here's where I already used it.

The dwarves circled round the hobbits, Balin started off in a voice that tremored slightly, but grew stronger as the words came, and they all began singing.

Giddy: Another one from my Hobbit WIP. This one kinda surprised me, giddy isn't a word I use too often, but I found it this time.

Giddy with relief, and feeling a little impish and smug, for she’d gotten herself out of danger all on her own this time, she set off to catch up with them, planning on giving them a little surprise when she appeared in their midst out of nowhere.

Style: I combed through so many WIPs to find style. I've used it a bunch in already posted stories, or unfinished pieces that were never going to see the light of day. But eventually I found it in a possible future scene for Our Dear Empress.

Likening oneself to a god was more her predecessor’s style.

🕯️was there a fic that was really hard on you to write, or took you to a place you didn’t think it would take you?

The first one that comes time mind is Hello Darkness, which I think remains to be one of the darkest fics I've written. Not in the sense of "this story did emotional damage to me." or "I wrote it to cope and it sprung from something else I was wrangling with." but more in the "i'm thinking about things in a way I've never had to before and it's very sobering" way. Being someone who likes to write angst and tragedy, there has to be a certain level of comfort sitting with the heavy feelings and the dark thoughts to figure out what does and does not make it into the story. And writing a story that was set around infanticide and genocide was definitely something I had to sit with for a while.

As an angst-heavy writer, I wouldn't write angst if it wasn't fun for me to some degree, and often when I get an idea it's very much me cackling like a mad witch over my keyboard as I come up with scenarios to torture my blorbos and readers alike. But also to hit at the emotional core of the angst, I need to be able to with with the feelings and empathize and think deeply beyond the surface level of what exactly these situations would do to characters.

🎙️which one of your fics would you like someone to make a pod-fic of?

Oh man, literally any of them! I've toyed with the idea of doing podfics before, but it never really got beyond the "that would be neat' stage of daydreaming. So if a podfic was ever to be done, someone else would need to do the reading. From a practicality standpoint, starting with some of my one shots would be a good place to start (which was where I figured I would start) and there's no shortage of gems in there to work with (imo), but hearing one of my longer works read aloud, hearing the lines I put down brought to life, and getting to listen to an entire story unfold would be amazing too.
