Leah x María First Date HC’s 💜💖
• They'd both probably be a nervous wreck at first. It’s so new to them, not like they’ve never been on a date before but it’s new to them because it’s a date with another girl and they’re like a completely different species and they’re so used to chaos but they want this to not be chaos lol.
• Like, maría would try to make sure her hair looked perfect and is constantly checking her outfit.
• In her mind she’s going through the list of how she should act and what she should say so she doesn’t scare Leah away.
• Meanwhile Leah is checking her breath and fixing her face and hoping she doesn’t accidentally offend María in any way because she’s always been told that she’s intimidating.
• but then of course as soon as they're actually together they relax and are immediately comfortable and realize how silly they were being
• Like they’re both nervous af till maría opens the door and sees leah there and they both just break out into huge goofy smiles
• They just melt into the comfortability that they usually settled into whenever they hung out before then, and they realize that there’s no need to be different just because they’re becoming more than friends.
• María wears this adorable pink dress
• and straightens her hair all nice and silky, adding a little flower hairpiece in it
• Leah’s so smitten
• Especially when the sun hits her face and she sparkles and glows. Leah can’t handle how adorable she really is.
• Leah wears a really nice leather jacket with a light blue top underneath
• María is so taken by how well the colors look on her. Blue is now officially María’s favorite color on Leah
• María literally takes a long moment to just stare at Leah, so lost in her sea of... heated emotions
• Leah is the one who planned this date, and she planned it with the help of Paul, Jacob and even Seth. But she refuses to tell María where they’re going until they get there.
• She gently helps María onto the back of her motorcycle, making sure she’s completely secure before moving an inch
• María is amused yet flattered at how careful she’s being with her. She finds it endearing yet funny because they both know she’s nearly indestructible.
• She gets a thrill out of riding on Leah’s motorcycle. She finds herself hot & bothered watching Leah steer the bike, and she just... leans closer and holds onto her a little tighter.
• She begs Leah to let her ride it one day and Leah agrees that she’ll teach her.
• Leah knows that María has a thing for animals, so she takes her to an aquarium to let her see some of the sea animals she loves.
• María practically loses her mind at the place.
• She’s literally just like child, running around to all the different animals swimming around, dragging Leah everywhere, pointing and “oohing” lol.
• One of the animals looks as if it’s waving at them and María just ascends to heaven
• Making Leah laugh out loud in the most genuine laugh she’s had in a long time.
• Leah mentally pats herself on the back for having made María so happy. She loves to see her like this. Basking in her happiness and in the cool blue ambiance of the aquarium
• Leah takes a lot of pictures of María and María makes sure Leah gets in some of the photos as well.
• They leave after the sun goes down and on the way back María asks Leah if she can sit in front.
• Leah is just unable to say no to the tiny brunette and lets her sit in front, tucking María’s head under her chin and placing her hands over hers helping her steer.
• María is still riding off the high she felt at the aquarium so she’s just wildin and yelling and Leah is just shaking her head and laughing along with her as they ride through the nearly vacant streets under the moon.
• They make it back home and Leah thinks the date is over, and is kinda bummed about it but María catches her by surprise.
• “You didn’t really think it was over did you? Wait till you see what I have planned for you!” María chirped, excitedly.
• Turns out, María had planned something for Leah too, wanting something to be special to be done for her, the way she did for their date.
• She’d also gone to Paul, Jacob, and Seth not knowing that Leah had gone to them for help too.
• The three guys found it hilarious but agreed to help anyway because they adore María.
• Paul let María borrow his truck and María set up a nice little nighttime get away for her and Leah, complete with snacks, games and little lights strung around the blankets and pillows
• Leah couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw it. She had so many questions.
• María answered them all and laughed at Leah’s lasting face of shock.
• Leah felt so warm inside when she thought of just how much effort María had put in to do this for her. Knowing that it was all for her.
• They sat in the back of the truck, María feeding Leah snacks, playing fun little games and telling so many stories, and pointing out the many stars and constellations in the sky
• by the end of the night Leah was resting her head in María’s lap while María played in her silky soft hair
• They both lamented about their favorite parts of their date and how much they really like each other and would like to keep having dates
• They were already in the middle of scheduling the next one when María leaned down and kissed Leah’s cheek as she was speaking nonchalantly about where they could go.
• Leah sat up from her lap, looking her in the eye before María apologized for her spontaneous and brash action.
• “Your spontaneity is one of my favorite things about you.” was Leah’s only response before giving her a kiss to her cheek. Making María cover her face with her hands in overwhelming affection while leaning her body into Leah, to which Leah found so cute.
• María turns into such a blushing mess when she’s with Leah and she finds it so amusing to see.
• They end their night in a soft tangled mess, whispering the sweetest little things to each other.
