Lord forgive me for I have a new Orange Side episode headcanon. This also kinda ties into the whole Orange being Logan's twin and my headcanon that Orange will slowly sap away at the colors of the other sides. So it's clear Janus and Virgil are aware of another dark side but they just don't know who it is. When Orange makes his grand entrance, everyone including Virgil and Janus and excluding Logan would be surprised. And Janus would question Logan on how he knows Orange.
Having new Orange Side headcanons is not a sin, so no need to ask Him for forgiveness! I love reading all the musings you send/share, thank you :3
I don’t know personally if I could 100% agree with that assumption. I could believe that Virgil might not know who Orange is, just that he exists since Janus might’ve chosen to hide Orange so deep that he wasn’t even allowed to interact with Remus or Virgil. Janus wouldn’t’ve hidden Orange if he couldn’t distinguish him as dangerous or something Thomas isn’t ready to deal with yet.
The thing about the current Dark Sides, is that all of the sides know they exist, however, it is Thomas who remains ignorant. Logan is the one who provides Thomas with the name “the Duke” when Remus shows up. The sides are just forbidden from speaking about them with Thomas by Janus.
What I’m getting at here is, is that he’d either not be a Dark Side and all the other sides (save for Logan in this scenario, of course) are unaware of his existence completely OR he is a Dark Side, however, everyone save for Logan and Janus are unaware of his purpose.
Either one would be pretty cool and dramatic, especially if he was not a Dark Side – hidden from even Janus and Logan is the only one who knows about his secret twin.
