Mercury’s Twin Split ability
Open
Alone again.
Zane tapped a rock with his foot as he meandered down the dark road, arms folded behind his back. All his rage and regret from the previous day had transformed into a sadness, one that weighed him down and sucked out his energy.
His eyes were on the ground; he didn't now nor care if anyone else was around.
"...GAAAAAH!"
Laine punched a nearby wall, ignoring the pain in her knuckles, teeth bared, seething with rage. "DAMN IT ALL!" She stepped closer to the wall, pressing her forehead against it, feeling something trickle down the side of her hand. She didn't notice anyone else nearby.
*Josh watched Laine from a distance. He stayed hidden behind a tree and than scampered up into the trees. His heart was pacing. He had never been on his own and she was the first person he saw in a day. He wasn't trying to act creepy. As he sat there, he began to lose his balance and he fell out of the tree. He landed in some bushes* "Ow"
Unfortunately, this was not one of Laine’s happy days.
Her mind was still reeling from the events of the night prior. He first argument with her brother….Not even an argument, a fight. It was difficult to even begin to process it. Rage filled her head, directed not just at her brother and that goddamn demon, but herself as well.
The forest, she felt, was the best and worst place to go during times like this. Best because people can’t find you easily. Worst because the trees felt suffocating.
The nosie caused Laine to spin around, tense, hands glowing white.
"Alright whoever the fuck you are, you’ve got three seconds to show yourself or get outta here,” she hissed.
Open
Zane was alone. He was fine with that.
He had spent the night away from everyone, isolated in the place he felt the most safe, the most at-home: darkness. Now, he was meandering around, away from people, a frown deep set in his face, though he wasn't entirely aware of that.
The previous night's events kept playing out in his mind, anger and regret swirling in his head, fighting for dominance.
Zane wanted to scream.
The look on the boy's face was anything but normal for him. His smug grin was replaced by legitimate worry as he floated around, looking for his mother and the boy she was so fond of. He learned a bit too late that not only did he yell at her, but his Aunt had as well, and she stormed away as if to prove something. Allen lands on his feet, looking around in a panic before spotting a familiar looking girl. "H-hey! You got a minute?"
Laine slowly turned her burning gaze towards the voice, only for her dread to rise even more. Her eyes were narrowed and filled with hate, though she wasn’t entirely sure who it was directed towards. The whites of her eyes were reddened. Her fists were clenched.
"Fuck off," she spat before facing forward.
(Oh, and while I'm doing this...
Until this little "event" is over, there will be no new threads with the Laine and Zane together. They wouldn't want to be seen near each other. Old threads are not affected.
It's essentially an M!A, except, well...not.
Though, would anyone like to do anything with a depressed twin? Because they're juuuust starting to feel the regret.
....PRETTY MUCH WHO'S UP FOR ANGST)
