The Doctor and the Explorer
The Explorer walked along the London street, looking for something interesting. He was bored, having taken a momentary break from traveling to spend some time in the city. He had done this before, and had come to know the are well- hence why he noticed that there currently appeared to be a wall where he was certain there had been an alley before. Pausing, he rapped a finger on what looked to be brick. Intriguingly enough, it not feel nor sound like a hand rapping on wood; rather, like a hand rapping on metal.
Taking a quick look around, he checked that there were no onlookers before winding up his arm and giving the "wall" a solid punch. Unfortunately, rather than destroying the barrier, that had about the same effect as punching metal: pain. "Ow ow ow ow! Bloody hell, I really should've seen that coming," he yelped, shaking out his hand. "Nevermind, I'll get to you yet," he grumbled, grabbing his screwdriver out of his pocket and waving it with a buzz over the door.
To his satisfaction, the wall appeared to fizzle and now displayed its metallic true surface. He immediately noticed a door, whose locking mechanism was likely not currently functioning, seeing as it had a sort of singed look to it. There was certainly something interesting here, and someone else had already broken in. Cautiously, he opened the door, carefully stepping inside to find a dark tunnel that looked quite like the inside of a spaceship. Closing the door behind him, he barely moved but a few steps before realizing that the other intruder (or whoever this place belonged to) was not just already there, but only a few meters away from him. "Er, hello there. Lovely day for exploring the city, isn't it?"
