Winter holidays is sure indeed a strange holiday, whether it’s Christmas or New Year’s. If you look across the globe, people usually spend their Chirstmas holiday and New Year’s with the rest of the relatives. It was more family-oriented where people spent their time visiting their distant-relating members, talking about the good old times as well catching up any recent news, out for a festive outing, and so on.

But here in Japan and its surrounding islands is different. The winter holiday was meant to be spend with their loved ones, a couple-oriented theme. Couple would always go out and take pictures together as to savor this memorable event. Cuddling together closely while sitting on a bench, these lovebirds would enjoy both the panorama  and the moment they’re living together.

For Sei and Alpha, it was a bit different. Alpha was extremely lucky to come over to the Seragaki’s residence, finding both Aoba and Tae gone. The android didn’t want to deal with the brother complex bluenette and truthfully, Alpha doesn’t know what kind of opinion Tae would have on him since he never met her face-to-face.

It seemed today, on New Year’s Eve, Midorijima is experiencing a terrible snowstorm at the moment. It wasn’t bad enough to close down stores and roads but it wasn’t great either due to the chilly temperatures. Alpha didn’t want Sei to catch a cold, even though the other wanted to join the countdown event taken place in Platinum Jail.

For now the two settled on watching the TV so Sei wouldn’t miss it. Cuddled together closely under a big blanket, the two enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows as they watching a huge gathering around a tall clock monument built in one of Platinum Jail’s public square.

11:59 pm

It’s getting close to midnight. A minute from now on and soon fireworks will be blasted in the air and everyone outside would be shouting in glee.

10! 9! 8! 7!

Both Alpha and Sei could hear people shouting on their countdowns in pure excitement.

6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!

As the big hand moved towards the 12 mark on the clock, everyone began to cheer and jumped around in the TV screen. Some even jumped in each other arms and began to kiss. 

But neither Alpha nor Sei noticed it. Both their lips were already sealed into a deep kiss. After a few seconds, Alpha pulled his lips away and smiled. “Happy New Year, Sei.”

Reason why Alpha no longer dances/sings Uta-Pri 2000% ED was because Sei banned him from doing so.

Well, that was a surprise. Sei hadn’t actually expected Alpha to pull out rope, from his closet no less. “…Do you just take rope with you everywhere?” An amused smile made it’s way onto his face.

Hearing Sei's comment Alpha couldn't help but laugh. "If I bring it with me whenever I go, I'll surely be arrested," he teased back before giving a few tugs on the rope to test its strength. There doesn't seem to be any problems with it so it should be usable.

Red string of fate thingy for sei

I’ll generate a number from 1-77 (YES SEVENTY SEVEN OPTIONS!) to see what is in our muse’s destinies then I’ll write some drabble based on the number generated.

1. Our muses are destined to fall in love

The generator knows. It knows too well.

Alpha doesn’t know much about destiny even if he knows the definition to that word. Maybe it’s because he never experienced or thought about the possibility on having another life after death and living in a different alternative universe with a different lifestyle.

There was one time where Alpha caught himself reading a book about two people living through a thousand lives and destiny. Despite the different physical forms, gender and age switches, and changes in their personalities and relationships, the two story characters would always be together no matter what. Even through pain, sadness, and anger, in the end it was always the same ending as their previous lives: destined to be together and fall in love.

After finishing the book, the android wondered for a brief moment. If an afterlife does exist, would he and Sei be destined to fall in love again the same way as their present selves, despite already lost their memory of their previous lives?

Even though it sounds illogical, to have an inevitable fate to be with someone you already loved before doesn’t sound like a ridiculous idea.

Sei would go get them a blanket, and even if Alpha said he was fine he'd shush him. Since he thinks of Alpha as human he'd do everything to make him warm again, even taking his hand and holding it and blowing on it.

How would you keep my character warm?

The Alphas gladly accepted the blankets that were given to them, appreciating on Sei’s kind actions. Alpha tried to kindly turning down Sei’s offers, telling him it was unnecessary and that he was fine with just the blanket. But he silently accepted it as he watched Sei warming up his hands by blowing on them and/or rubbing them together.

Alpha 2 would just quietly watched the two, wearing a faint smug expression.

An Unpleasant Arguement

It had been a few days after Halloween and Sei was now heading towards his place. Alpha was overly thrilled, even though it was the usual visits Sei did before. It was nothing special but the android cannot maintain this stirring feeling inside him.

Last time Sei was here it was during Halloween. Alpha was under the effects of the magic anon and got turned himself into a naga. Disappointed that he couldn't go trick-or-treating (well, it was more that he couldn't spend with Sei out during such a spooky event), Sei decided to check on the Alphas after receiving a text from Alpha about their bizarre snake features.

Happy to have him over, Sei showed him the goodies he received from trick-or-treating and at some point, Alpha covered him with kisses and gentle touches. At first Sei started to enjoy but soon he became hesitate as time passed. He could see the visible disappointment written on Alpha's face when Sei explained he had to leave early or else Aoba will have another fit. He had no choice but to return back home. Alpha understood his reason but he couldn't help himself but to mentally curse at the bluenette and his damn brother complex.

With a weak smile he waved Sei goodbye and watched him leave through the door. But now Alpha was back to his normal self (both physically and personality-wise). Alpha scheduled a day just the two of them to go out and have a pleasant dine-out. He recalled they were talking about it but it never happened due to the bad weather. Right now was the perfect chance.

The doorbell rang. Wasting no time, he grabbed onto the doorknob and opened the entrance door. Alpha immediately smiled and greeted Sei. "Hey there."

Once Sei pulled his mouth away to take some air, Alpha’s initial surprise was replaced by a smile. “Is this your way to dominant me?”
