My Favorite (+ Least Favorite) Crayola Coloring Stuff

I don’t currently use colored pencils or markers (although I have markers in the box for no real reason 😅😅), so I won’t be talking about them.

My LEAST Favorite Crayola Product: Twistable Colored Pencils (18)

On a scale from 1-5

Color range: 2 - limited

Color vibrancy: 2 - poor

Texture: 3 - flat, can look streaky

Blending: 1 - sort of overlaps colors, but they don’t really blend

Ease of use: 1 - tip breaks frequently, you have to twist every 15 seconds or so

Durability: 0 - it gets used up fast because there’s hardly any “lead” in each one and again, tip breaks a lot

Fun: 1 - a pain to use

Overall score: 1.4

I’ve hardly used these and think they’re a waste of plastic.

Jumbo Crayons (16)

Color range: 1 - very limited

Color vibrancy: 4 - pretty good

Texture: 0 - it comes out waxier than regular crayons

Blending: 0 - impossible to blend

Ease of use: 4 - don’t need a lot of pressure, easy to hold, except no good way to sharpen the tips

Durability: 5 - these are very hard to snap

Fun: 4 - they’re giant crayons and make you feel like you’re bitty!

Overall score: 2.6

These aren’t my favorite, as you can tell by the tips, I’ve barely used them, but they’re fun to use when I’m bored!

64 Box of Crayons

***These did not come in this packaging, I made little pockets for them!***

Color range: 5 - 64 different colors!

Color vibrancy: 4 - pretty good

Texture: 1 - a little waxy

Blending: 3 - blends decently

Ease of use: 3 - hard to hold because they’re very small, have to use a decent amount of pressure

Durability: 1 - can snap if you aren’t careful and if a crayon gets too short, it’s nearly impossible to use

Fun: 5 - so many colors!!!

Overall score: 3.1

I like these a lot! I recommend them if you like having a lot of different colors without having to rely on blending.

My Absolute FAVORITE Things to Color with: Twistable Crayons (24)

Color range: 4 - somewhat limited, but the colors included are fantastic!

Color vibrancy: 4 - pretty good

Blending: 3 - blends decently

Ease of Use: 5 - rarely have to twist, easy to hold, little pressure needed

Durability: 5 - very hard to snap, doesn’t get used up quickly

Fun: 4 - these are so easy to pick up and use and the color choice makes them inviting!

Overall score: 3.6

If you’re going to buy a Crayola product for coloring, this is the one I’d go with!

Yep. Only one photo. Odd, but it is what it is.

I don’t know who she is. But her name is Elem, she has a glowy organ thing in the middle of her tail, and she has little glowy orbs that are her mouths. I listened to Drunken Whaler the entire time drawing her some months ago.
