Not to geek out but I think the biggest surprise I’ve had getting into the Magnus archives is learning about the sheer passion & dedication behind its creation. Like theoretically “anybody” could have made a podcast like this, but these people did not fucking give up!! I’m deeply invested in like, rusty quill as a company & could go on a long rant about how it’s showing the world exactly what an entertainment company should be doing etc etc etc (cultural studies major in me) but like I truly think about how the world is falling apart but theres always going to be innovators and creative people out there who are just dedicated & passionate. In a time of “big box” companies destroying (or in the very least watering down & censoring) the entertainment industry, we need more people saying Fuck That, I’m going to make my own thing.
Also I started listening to RQ gaming & EGSM & Trice Forgotten today and they are all bangers.
