Petition to call a Chapter 5 aborted Weird Route:

Twisted Route🥀

Because it's likely to be the main way to get the Twisted Sword. As well as the entire story flow being twisted up.

I only saw a video, you couldn't PAY me to play the Weird Route, Kris and Noelle, especially on the WR, make me sick (/pos now also /neg)

To add to this how would the story play out if you're doing a pacifist route except the Weird Route sections...

I Thought Of A Really Cool Gimmick For A Noelle Boss Fight

(Chapter 5 Weird Route Spoilers)

Following on from this post, I think that the Aborted Weird Route (or Twisted Route) in Chapter 6 could feature a secret boss fight against Noelle, on account of us basically blue-balling her into completely losing her mind.

But here's the thing: Noelle's bond with "Kris" might be shattered, but she's still wearing the ThornRing. The connection remains. She still wields our power. And as her response to us telling her to "Stop" in Chapter 5 demonstrates, she doesn't need our permission to access it. We couldn't stop the Weird Route at that point, after all... we could only let something else prevent Noelle's escape. In implanting the Thorn in Noelle, a contract of influence was formed between us, but it goes both ways. We got to wield Noelle's power, but now Noelle gets to wield ours.

Which brings me to my idea for a secret boss gimmick: Instead of a SOUL Mode, Noelle can drain our Tension Points to fuel and enhance her attacks.

Suddenly, a core mechanic of the game - grazing & TP - and our most universally applicable strategy - DEFENDing - are flipped on their heads, as your reward for doing so can be turned on you. For 8% a pop (Because the ThornRing halves the cost of ice spells, remember), IceShock empowers Noelle's assault. Hit 32%, and she can either heal herself or cast SleepMist, which could obscure vision, slow the SOUL or put your party members to sleep. And if you reach 100%? Snowgrave. Game Over, lights out.

Tweak the numbers right, and such a battle could have two diverging strategies, each with their own benefits and downsides. Do you avoid grazing to keep Noelle's damage lower, or risk her wrath to maintain access to your own spells?
