This week, Twitter has announced its new development: Fabric. It was a big moment in helping Twitter to entice developers and marketers away from its direct competitors Amazon, Facebook and Google, providing the support and tools that developers need to build mobile apps, and appealing to marketers keen to change their face of their mobile advertising. The free service also helps with analysing crashes, and not to mention embedding the company's real-time information in new services. But is it really all it's geared up to be?
I wasn't even aware of this launch until I started searching around the internet, it clearly wasn't widely broadcast to the public! But the more I looked into it, the more interesting it seems for marketers to use..especially the analytic side of things.
