Other notes about Rook "Rook":

Outside of the Dalish clan she was raised in, strangers thought "Rook" was a nickname because it doesn't sound Dalish. She then would sarcastically tell people her nickname is Rook, which was taken unironically

Rook, at age 1, was lost in a ravaged town and found by a Dalish clan. In her arms, she held a toy griffon with the name "Rook Thorne" sloppily carved into it. She learned the Dalish clan's teachings and often performed a jovial, helpful, and astute persona to belong, but internally she felt distant, other, and out of place

During an existential crisis, she dyed her hair blue and hasn't gone back to brunette

At age 19, she was dismissed from her clan for being too hotheaded and aggressive. She joined the Wardens soon after to channel her violence and process her grief

Her ambient magic feels like nerves regaining sensation... static pop rocks? Her favored element is lightening

Headcanon: Arcane Warrior - her specialization is a derivative of the ancient art, as she experiments to modify her spellblade

She's been bounced around Warden outposts and sent to the Deep Roads numerous times. Just can't stay out of trouble More to be added as I explore her character more while writing fic
