The wonk is on her yacht to go hunt for the truth and also maybe kill a transphobic fuck. But falls and ends up on the island.
on the island she meets UnCharles and god. UnCharles doesn’t talk or hear because Ivan can’t do either of those in the book either. UnCharles is more controlled by God in this au.
God invites The Wonk to hunt with it. The wonk declines. And thus God gives her a choice. Hunt with her or be slowly drowned by UnCharles.
in this au I think I’ll make it so The Wonk knew UnCharles before… bc creative freedom. So UnCharles had gone missing whike she was asleep. Because god was talking to him.
anyway she chooses the hunt. And yadda yadda yadda. If you’ve read the book, you know the ending.
