Also I love Cahir's character development between s1 and s4. I think that one of the moments that really seals that for me is how he helps Yennefer survive the sewer monster attack in s2. Afterwards, Yennefer has a meltdown, and he's kind. There's even a moment of appreciative awe, that I think is not only really sweet, I think it is the first moment where we really get to see who he actually is. I love watching this series over and over, I pick up new things to delight on or be fascinated by every time I do.
(Also, I'm just low key trying to keep it on in the background on repeat. I want Netflix and Hissrich to know that I'm really enjoying it. More, I want them to know S4 is so good that it makes me want to re-watch the rest of the series over and over. It's queer, it's funny, it's raunchy, it's brilliantly costumed, it's QUEER, and also it's queer. NOT ONLY THAT. The characters are getting to have these really important, satisfying moments of character development between the big moments in the plot. The friendships feel earned and genuine. Real intimacy grows through the season. This is the stuff I felt like the series was missing, and I am beyond thrilled that I get to enjoy this delicious character development and downtime/companionship time. DELICIOUS, I SAY.
