a cute little thing for @drarrymicrofic Two Ghosts Prompt for all those on discord who said we needed something lighter! “For Merlin’s sake, Potter, just move and let me do it.” Draco shoved at Harry's shoulder, trying to get into a better position.

“Fuck off, Malfoy, this is my hallway. Go back down to the dungeon where you’re supposed to be.” Harry shoved him back just as the first-years rounded the corner.

“Boo!” Harry jumped out from behind the suit of armour, waving his arms over his head and making the most terrifying face he could manage.

The three first-year girls burst into giggles. “Nice try, Mr Potter,” one of them said.

Harry’s shoulders slumped. Malfoy came and wrapped an arm around him. “It’s okay, love, Hogwarts ghosts aren’t supposed to be scary. Come watch me, I like to hang around outside the Potions classroom and give out unwanted advice.”

Harry rolled his eyes but followed his husband down the stairs. Haunting wasn’t as easy as he’d thought it would be.

This is insane. It is absolutely bonkers that all these years later we are able to go back and watch their stuff and find something new we’ve never seen before.

ok so rundown of the last 24 hrs:

Louis shared an IGS of a recording studio (LT3’s in the oven), which Harry has used before (“coincidentally”). PS: WHY IS HIS IGS ALWAYS CRASHING 😭

Niall released the prettiest vinyl records ever, which includes two originally unreleased, fan-favorite tracks (Dress and Nothing).

Zayn opened his biggest tour show yet with Night Changes on the 10th anniversary of him leaving the band and almost cried during the performance. (And bonus, the rainbow doorway visuals)

Harry’s pap pics dropped, looking so fresh and giggly in HD, and then the Two Ghosts MV snippet leak finally got found six days after being shared.

Well, I hope y’all are okay because I sure ain’t.

It’s Harry’s first time being back at Andromeda’s cottage since… since Draco.

Only he’s still everywhere.

He’s yelling in the foyer, hand flat when it hits the wall. He’s lifting Harry up onto the bathroom counter, hand already rucking up his shirt. Somehow Draco is everywhere and nowhere at all.

we’re not who we used to be

He thinks it’s another figment of his imagination when, on the fourth day, he finds Draco waiting for them on the stoop. Teddi’s happy yelp anchors him in the now, helping him see all the ways Draco’s changed — hair short, piercings gone, a smile for Harry rather than a grimace.

Draco stays for supper and late into the night, for Teddy… and maybe Harry.

They’re had a glass of wine when Harry realizes this doesn’t hurt like he thought it would. They’ve had two glasses when he realizes he misses the memories more than the man in front of him.
