Toshiro Mifune (Rashumon, Seven Samurai, Grand Prix, Stray Dog)—i love and respect my boi tab hunter (rest in peace you beautiful, beautiful man ❤️), but after i watched like 12 of his movies in a row on tcm last year, i ALSO love and respect toshiro mifune, son of a literal actual hatamoto’s (a high-ranking samurai) daughter, also very possibly related to the best judokan EVER, AND, he’s the guy who SHOULD have been obi-wan kenobi. the fact that he’s ALSO hot as hell just adds to his appeal.

call me crazy or call it a reach but the way that kit and ty reflect sun and moon the way that the seelie and unseelie courts do scratches my brain. the way dru references it about the courts in sobh, the way the art frostbite studios dropped of kit as “the sun” (which I’d bet is going to come with character art of ty as “the moon”). the beautiful kind of trickery that kit is used to that is so seelie and the directness and appreciation of the wild that is unseelie 100% but also very ty? I feel like it’s too uncanny to ignore. do I know what it could mean for twp? noooo but there’s something there!! tell me I’m not reaching please
