Hi. Do you know of any episodes of Magnificent Century where Selim, Mihrimah, Bayezid and Cihangir are feeling down / sad / hopeless? I need it for a post I'm planning to do but I don't know where to start. Thank you.
Season 4 in general is a great place to start, especially after Hurrem's death (134). Some others: Selim - 112,114, Mihrimah - 75,77,78,82,86,88,91,96-100,103,117,124,132,133 Bayezid - 117,124-127,129 and after Cihangir - 104,111,118,123,124,

trinity lowkey wants to see frank punished and humiliated beyond measure bc he made her feel so awful on her first day and she wants him to feel like she's felt, suffer like she's suffered, and she doesnt believe that he has if she cant see it with her own eyes, and she thinks this will make her feel better but it wont
al-hashimi’s response to robby telling her about langdon and santos is the reaction anyone should have by the way. the fact that he didn’t treat their situation as seriously tells the viewers exactly how much robby has been neglecting to protect anyone working with langdon. she took the info langdon told her about ‘being an ass to her one time’ and understood it for what it was: a clear abuse of power by someone who was committing crimes, whether they were under the influence or not.
and what did she do? she didn’t punish langdon, addiction is a disease. no, she protected the people around him and prevented him from falling back into his own ways, which protects everyone in that room including langdon. shaming him, making him upset and angry like robby has been doing, is making langdon risk relapsing even more. she is protecting and training everyone in this situation as needed, and is a perfect example of how addicts should be treated. without shame, but with care, clear guidance and observation. he needs this, especially in an addiction this recent, especially on his first day back and being exposed to all sorts of triggers

As a nurse who formally worked on ortho/ortho trauma, I can confirm there are surgeons like Park the Shark. Just as big, tall, and intimidating. Their presence alone makes everyone keep their bullshit to a minimum. But you know who these Park the Sharks always yield to?

Please guys I'm begging you
trinity santos is a study in fandom misogyny because they gave her all the characteristics fandoms usually salivate for in men, being gruff, quippy and misunderstood with a tragic backstory but a heart of gold beneath it all. they put all this into her AND let her be a lesbian. she's everything you could ever want in a character but she's not a man so half the fandom either hates her or constantly mischaracterizes her as petty, callous and aggressive while doing mental gymnastics to baby the male characters around her
