Alternatives to the racist "two wolves" meme

For anyone who hasn't heard it, the "there are two wolves inside of you" meme isn't actually any kind of Native wisdom. This meme can be traced back to Billy Graham, and seems to be riffing off the Christian shoulder angel/demon meme.

You can literally just use the angel/demon meme; EG, "my guardian angel wants me to X, but my tempting demon says I should Y."

Are angels and demons are too Christian for you? Then replace "angel" and "demon" with whatever embodies some form of duality to you. Make it a frog and a toad, a werewolf and a vampire, your inner Mario and your inner Bowser, whatever. Go wild, knock yourself out.
