Seen some people being a bit vexed that Bumblebee was in the Transformers One movie- because that made him old. And as a trope Bumblebee's often been described as being one of the youngest autobots- Even one of the youngest cybertronians to be forged before the fall of the planet. That might be fanon though i'm not sure.
I don't have a problem with it. I love Bee no matter the continuity. But it got me thinking.
To this I propose a solution: B-127 dies. The start of the war goes on and eventually Primus is like "Oh frag they need the yellow one" and pop him back out before he clocks out. And bam. Another B-127, fresh and young. Same spark.
It would be a pretty angsty Au. Because Bee freaking dies obviously. And Prime (and Elita and Megatron too tbh) has to deal with that.
Maybe it's what makes the war take a turn for the worst, who knows. Then millenia pass and they all see that fresh yellow bot with the SAME NAME appear and they have FEELINGS about it. (or maybe he's named after Bee or something, he becomes Prime's scout too)
Thought we know it's the same spark in both bots. They don't know that. Bee doesn't know that. Only Primus knows and he heckin ded brosquies.
Megatron rips out the voice box of this new young Bee because it reminds him of the last one. Optimus is even more of a dad to young Bee. Elita is still her very angry self and teaches bee how to fight in heels (probably) All the autobots and Decepticons feel like they're seeing a ghost and even tho they think they're not the same bot it's unfair old Bee's lookalike is the one that survived.

What we thinking? I kinda wanna maybe write that. BUT- I'm already writting DeceptiBee Au... Or I can bring this idea in the DeceptiBee Au... *holds gun to B-127 head*

B-127 hurts, he’s bleeding on the rough ground of Cybertron itself. Or is he? Why is he bleeding, anyways?
There was a fight, he thinks, maybe. B-127 remembers, the Decepticon were setting base on a stray planet, to refuel? Yes, probably, they were low on energon. At some point, Autobots appeared, Optimus was there too! Megatron and he were shouting at each other for a while.
B-127 never really liked it when they fought, Elita wasn’t even here this time.
There’s shouting again, not at him, though. They sound panicked, did someone get hurt real bad? Did he get hurt real bad?
There was someone moving him, their touch was nice, rough hands, but gentle.
Dee?
Right then, B-127 was struck with a realization that maybe, just maybe, he might be dying. It’s getting dark, and he can’t see.
No, no, he can’t die. He’s not leaving Dee alone, how would he know to get back to recharge after another bad dream? What about Orion? Elita? Steve 2.0? His body was being lifted up, and more shouting and loud noises, but it was fading away. His already blacked-out screen beeps with frantic error pop-ups, notifying how his system is shutting down one-by-one.
It’s getting very, very cold. B-127 still can’t see.
B-127 still wants to hang out with his friends for a little longer.

Inside a long-abandoned, dusty trash bin, a small bot activates.
Ok i will be honest i'm not so good at drawing robot and also i'm obsessed with the deceptibee and twobee au (although it not out yet) by @yuukirita so i imagine and draw the part that bee die and megatron hug him bla bla bla...

Under the cut for easy scrolling, @yuukirita for this brainrot that has grabbed onto my poor brain.
Once he’s far enough, he demagnetises his symbol and flips it around (careful not to look too hard at his chest), the purple face of Megatronus greeting him when he sticks it back on.
It’s an open secret, really. Despite some grumbles and vocal protests from Prowl, Optimus made the decision that ‘B-127 should not have to choose between his friends; he may come and go as he pleases, he is an Autobot at spark.’
Really, it’s nepotism at it’s finest. Or, at least, that’s what Starscream says behind his back in a stage whisper.
He practices his smile.
The Decepticon base proper is located in Kaon, but there’s a smaller satellite one that’s not too far. Shockwave was very insistent about the location remaining a secret and B pinky promised! He uses his field to do a perimeter check like he was taught, making sure he’s not being watched or followed before he transforms again and heads towards their base.
Calling it a war is silly, in B’s opinion, despite what the older members of the High guard wanted. It’s a bunch of skirmishes and squabbles more akin to newbuilds arguing over who gets what flavour of energon than anything serious. Nobody died, even though his knife hands might’ve cut one or two people up.
(Okay, a lot, but in his defence, there’s a surprising amount of mechs on both sides who just… target him? It used to be scary, but it’s just dipped into annoying.)
Knife hands! He loved those things. He adds it to his mental happy box for the day, tucking the files between Optimus’ laugh and winning a round of Wreckers: Kingdom Come just before he fell into recharge.
Long drives aren’t the worst. It’s not even a long drive, really, long is the journey between Iacon and Kaon, that’s the worst. Still, out here, it’s just him and the unpaved ground beneath his tyres. It’s quiet. Not silent, but quiet. And quiet is fine, but…
With a delighted giggle, he activates his new radio, turning it to the rock channel. Blaster was good at what he does, and Soundwave’s modifications made it even better.
The drive is peppy and filled with good music and he’s approaching the base before he realises it. He crests the hill overlooking it, letting out a whoop as he gets to coast down, his favourite part.
B transforms midway down, landing on his pedes as he slides across the ground.
“You’ve got better at that,” Megatron says, already standing at the bottom. His smile is amused, watching as B claps with excitement. “Please go calm the twins, Starscream shut them in a storage locker somewhere.”
“Oh, scrap,” is B’s intelligent response, giving a quick wave to Megatron as he enters the base to look for the twins. Knowing Starscream, he probably put them somewhere far back…
He stops, squeezing his eyes shut and spreading his field out. It’s harder to focus on specifics, gently brushing over the mechs in the base as their fields respond. Ideally, he’d be able to do it without detection, but little steps! Thundercracker sends him a little ‘hello’ along with Skywarp’s giddy ‘welcome!!’ and though they’re so nice to hear from, it’s not quite who he wants…
There.
Rumble and Frenzy buzz with an energy that is very distinctly, well, Rumble and Frenzy. Despite being around for era of the Thirteen, they’re still just as hyper as newbuilds in a sweets store.
See! Happiness! Nothing could ever go wrong here...
I didn't want young bee to be exaclty the same- so i gave him the lil wing doors (I'm a sucker for em) and vertical stripes on the chest so that way we can tell which one is which pretty easily (for my sake)

I'm pretty sure imma end up using SecondBee au more since it's a second bee and there aren't two of them at the same time- (honorable mention to the copybee au name (that name would be great for a clone bee au))
I dunno when I'll be able to write for it but darn it's nice to draw (I just like drawing in general)

And then he dies. It's the no turning point in the war, without Bee theres is no more chance of peace.
Primus, before the planet dies completely, sends out Bee's sparks to be born again- one of, if not the last cybertronian born.
I know they probably wouldn’t interact, being the same soul and stuff, but it would bee so fucking funny if B127 was just following bumblebee around wonder wtf happened to his friends. How it get to this point? Was it cuz he died? Anyway I love your aus’ so much they are running 24/7 around my head like a hamster in a wheel
I like the idea that Bumblebee (new bee) Doesn't remember anything from his past-
BUT I LIKE EVEN MORE the idea that There's still bits of b-127 in bumblebee. Maybe not to the point theres a fully formed ghost b-127 following him around (wich would be funny as heck and totally a valid way to do this au- they have the same spark but they can be different people) but there can be moments out of nowhere he thinks "how did it end up like this?" or "This is all my fault" things like that.
And feelings as well- like the first time bumblebee sees Megatron, after being raised by the autobots and he knows how bad he is- but the first time he sees him in person hes happy to see his friend. And it doesn't make sense because... that's not his friend (but it used to be)
There just need to be enough of those moments for US to remember (and weep) that 'yeah- you feel like that cuz you WERE friends'
But it should never bee too much that the bots in the story are suspicious that Bumblebee is actually B-127. He reminds them of their old friend, yes- but they'd never dare think they're the same person (cuz they're not really. rehincarnation is fun like that)
It's a tragedy- because we know who he used to be. And so much bad stuff is gonna happen to him. and we love that
Also Bumblebee could talk to B-127 in dreams and stuff- that'd be cool. I rambled so much now I'm lightheaded.
AND- i just need to repeat myself. Having B-127 following Bumblebee around would be hilarious and I love that idea.
