Sorry to keep you all waiting so long, the last part of the Twoframe trilogy is finally here! click on the link to read it :)! 

I love this trilogy so much and translating it has been much of fun, special thanks to @wenya-ofthe-night for helping me with some translations!

(Note: If you haven’t read the first two parts it might be a bit hard to understand the plot!)

https://myreadingmanga.info/shounen-kouraku-twoframe-yonakiuguisu-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ so lovely end to a lovely trilogy with some issues.  trigger warning for character death, violence, and an implied underage romance at the end >_>.  i don’t want to spoil the ending but i did take issue with the choice of how to wrap this up.  as always the art is beautiful, the story is tragic, and erwin and levi are just... soft with each other.  i like that this reincarnation au also touches on the struggles and imperfections of this life too.  read the whole series, it’s stunning.

Caught up on SnK the manga and now in-progress on all the Eruri porn.  The more I read TWOFRAME’s Taisho Era Eruri, the more I love it~  There’s so much poetry packed into this story starting from the covers.  Taisho setting = artsy porn!!

Shirakawa Yohune = To be fast asleep Alludes to Erwin’s lack of memories of his past life.  Starting the first chapter at winter reflects the state of the beginning of their relationship in this life, as complete strangers.  But in traditional Chinese and Japanese poetry/art (in which Taisho era art would apply), it also refers the hidden potential of their relationship, waiting to melt into...

Yukiwari Zakura = The first (sakura) blossoms of spring Everything about this chapter cover is clearly beating us over the head with the fact that the Eruri relationship is progressing very well.  There’s a focus on Levi’s perspective as he goes from aloof to warming up to this younger and more naive Erwin (who’s in the spring of his youth, so to speak).

Yonaki Ugutsu = evening cry of the nightingale Title is telling us something is coming to an end...the whole thing is quite spoiler-ly once you read through it.  Summer makes sense here since it is traditionally viewed as a tranquil or stagnant season.  Both meanings apply to this chapter since our main couple are settling into a comfortable routine in literal summer.  Then after the main conflict, we see Erwin transition to a stable albeit depressing stage of his life as he matures.

Hagi no Hanami = Flower Viewing of the Bush Clover Yes it literally says “flower viewing of autumn leaves.”  While autumn is an unusual time to rekindle a relationship, the rebirth imagery of the bush clover is awfully symbolic.  The crimson exterior hides a blue hue suggesting age and cynicism giving way to youthful love.  Speaking of age...the fall symbolism is concerning when linked with the current age gap.  But it’s Taisho theme + Eruri so of course everything is bittersweet.  But TWOFRAME leaving the forth season up to interpretation is quite suspenseful.

Note:  I’m such a sucker for 4-season imagery to the point I’ve always wanted to do a 4-season series for a cosplay photoshoot. XD If I find an Erwin maybe I’ll cosplay this one!! :D
