LET ME IN 4 IN THAILAND - NICHAKORN KHUHAJIT (FACEOFF)
Before: My abnormal chin was grown up like this back in a long time ago. Therefore, many of my friends like to pull my leg with laugh at my deformed appearance all the time. I have cried for this so many times. Although spoken in jest, but it still hurts me a lot. The ugly combination of a lantern jaw, stubby nose and donkey ears, all these making me look like a monkey assuredly. This is why my companions never stop to call me monkey every time when we get together. I deeply dislike all this. This is the reason why I never have a short hair style. I really need to cover my facial shortcomings with long hair. I accidentally found foreign candidates recruiting announcement of LET Beauty season 4 one day when I was exploring on Facebook. This TV programme is greatly popular not only in other Asian region but also the same or even more popular in Thailand. It is great news!! I sent out my application earnestly. I didn't expect that I hit the jackpot and being selected as the one. I am leaving for South Korea right after I shared the great news with my family.
D-Day: I made a visit to VIEW Medical Group at the day. I was feeling both nervous and excited. After went through the pre consultation with Dr. Choi, I had to take full body examination before go into the operative room, it is all for safety. As what I mentioned just now, I was very nervous and excited since I finally got the precious chance to fix my jaw and nose. I was extremely jealous while others luckily had their job done and became so beautiful. While I lying down on the operating table, I was full of hope as long as I think about my appearance can be completely reshaped afterwards.
1~2 months later: I had to move into the boarding house after done all surgeries, It was a very great fully equipped house that I've never met before. I felt so comfortable during all the staying since we have few full-time caregivers to take care for all of us, those who were selected as LET Beauties, from the menu management system to exercise management system, Because of I knew nobody here, no friends, no families, I was so glad that other LET Beauties are so nice to ask me to be friend with each other. Also, I am a bit frustrated because of I completely cannot see how my face being changed, As long as I think about that I am not allowed to watch mirrors in 2 months. I am very curious of my face especially when people keep telling me that I look very pretty right now. I am so shy since I've not yet adapted all well-meaning praises from people. After FACE OFF operation 1 month later, I had to take another surgery on my nose. Before to take the NANO Bimaxillary Diorthosis, there was a hook on my original nose, additionally it was flat and two large wide-open nostrils made me look so countrified. The nose reshaping is based on how my face being changed. I was so lucky that I can experience what Korean selectable high-tech surgery is in person, Even though a symptom of swelling still seems obvious on my face but I can feel the shape is getting change positively little by little. I am allowed to each smooth things and still feel difficult to open my mouth since I have braces on my teeth. Besides, I can pronounce almost accurate and chaw easier now. I am getting used to my life here as time goes on. The other thing is, although I don't know how to speak Korean language but it is okay to communicate with others by body language at the boarding house. I am so appreciated I got a lot of helps from others here.
On the day of studio shooting: It is the day for shooting! I am looking forward to see my face! All this makes me sleepless through the whole night. It feels like I was selected as LET Beauty just yesterday but it is already the day for public shooting! Everybody was screaming at the moment when the curtain was flying away and I finally face to the public. I was bewildered at their screaming and just couldn't wait any more to see my new look! Especially people were keeping to saying the shape of my face look very smooth and natural! Dr. Choi said I am very lovely and gorgeous that I have the eligibility to apply the competition of Miss Thailand. I was really touched right at the moment to see my new look. I am so happy that I finally became the person who I've been long for. By seeing my face on the screen, I suddenly wish I can immediately share my happiness with my family so much right at this moment. I don't have to being laughed at by others anymore! I will no longer to care how others think about my face and confidently focus on what I want to do, who I want to be.
4 Months Later: I finally back in Thailand to meet with my family. They all are so happy for me! I feel like now I have enough confidence to do everything. Compared with the day in film studio, the swelling on my face was totally gone. It is easier to chew food now. I am paying all my attention to take care of my teeth now. I keep changing teeth brace once a day for the better recovery. I feel now I am completely different to before, I am full of confidence and energetic. It was my dream to be a stewardess since years ago, I am closer to my dream little by little. I am very appreciated those who gave me a lot of help during this tough period, especially the team of LET Beauty and Doctors. Never shall I forget their kindness. Now it is the time to go for my dream!
5 Months Later: I was invited to attend my friend's wedding. Honestly, it has been a long time I didn't dress up myself like this since LET Beauty broadcast finished. This outfit just reminds me nicely all those good days when I was in Korea for the LET Beauty filming and treatment. I was worrying if something bad happen to me after back to Thailand. I couldn't ask for help immediately. Fortunately, I can talk to staff from hospital instantly through real-time chatting tool. I remember the first time I tried to wear the teeth brace myself but it didn't work well, so I asked for help by sending messages. They nicely responded me quite fast with useful information. I am happy to say now my life is going well! I am much appreciated those who contributes their efforts for me! With VIEW Medical Group's great help, I got a better life and many people have praised me a lot.
7 Months Later: It has been 7 months since surgeries already! Time flies so fast! I still remember the mood when I first visited Korea, it was exciting and everything was so strange to me. To be honest, I miss those old days in Korea very much. Everything looks natural on me at present. I got my normal life back on the track and everything is finally settle down. Of course I mean my face haha. All defects on my face are gone and symptoms of swelling are down completely. I feel better than good definitely. Actually now I am a fan of VIEW Medical Group on facebook. I'd like to follow up all information updates on the page.
