With how long Argos's hair currently is, I imagine he'd end up looking like a wet dog if he went outside without an umbrella and it suddenly started raining (does it even rain in the void?)
Just imagine Mr Plant simply chilling in his void being like "oh Argos probably will be back soon from getting groceries", then it starts raining, then Argos comes in absolutely soaked and most likely a bit grumpy because of his situation so a little bit later Mr Plant is helping him dry his hair.
I ended up rambling a little when this was meant to be just one paragraph
i just had a vision i need to share with you guys (it's pretty dumb actually)
We know that while Argos has a ton of different jobs, Mr Plant seems to have a tendency to stay unemployed or to not keep any job for a long time so hear me out on this: if those two were to get married, Mr Plant could be Argos's stay at home husband. This isn't meant to be taken seriously, it's just a stupid idea i had. It's just so funny to think about that posibility.
A while ago i made a post about a pretty unserious twomp hc (this post) that i have that ties to my headcanon that twomp takes place at some point of the 2000's maybe early 2010's at latest but i never elaborated on the later. Today i was feeling like talking about it.
I began to think about this when i realized that the technology shown in the episodes isn't the most modern, we've seen landlines and this type of tvs ⬇️ (idk what they're called in english)
And that's it. For comunication most void residents seem to use only two methods: phone calls or letters.
But then i thought; what i consider to be modern technology is human made technology that'd have to be introduced to the void by the humans who've recently started moving in, maybe it just hasn't happened yet. There's also the fact that making technological connections work between different voids might be complicated, this could be related to letters being a fairly used way of comunication.
As i was overthinking technology in the void i realized that there's a much simpler way to back up my hypothesis about the time setting:
Mark!
We know he was 10 y/o durning the events of maf and that maf takes place in 1997 (i have a reliable source for this information, Ashur himself!) Ashur also said that the Mark in twomp is an older, healed Mark. We don't know his age but since he has a job we know he's an adult. (Funny how i have an habit of calling Mark my child even though he isn't that many years younger than my parents)
So yeah, that's why i belive twomp is set in the 2000-2010's.
Uuuuh i think this ended up being closer to a theory than a headcanon.
What i'm gonna talk about ties with my headcanon that Argos likes having background music (help i'm not sure how to phrase this in english). You know, like listening to the radio or just playing an album he likes.
So, thinking about a cool artist (feefal, she's here on tumblr too) i remembered something she mentioned in the caption on one of her ig posts.
The first time i saw that i just thought it was cool and then i forgot about it, but now i'm thinking that Argos would DEFINITELY play music for his plants. (And maybe he'd be curious to see how Mr Plant reacts to it)
Hi i wanted to share a few headcanons about Mr Plant and Argos but more specifically about their sexualities and (Argos's) gender identity.
I've seen people hc Mr Plant as asexual, and i could see that yet i hc him as double demi (demiromantic and demisexual)! I also hc him as omnisexual with a preference for men. The funny thing is, i don't think he's aware of any of this information; i belive he never really tried to figure out what his exact sexuality is he just goes "oh, i like this person now" and that's it.
And for Argos, hes gay. No doubt about that. Idk i just can imagine him being attracted to a woman. And i headcanon him as a demiboy! (He/they pronouns) Unlike Mr Plant, i could see him researching a lot of different labels in order to decide which one suits him best.

Demisexual: a person that only feels sexual attraction if they have a deep emotional bond with the person.
Demiromantic: a person that only feels romantic attraction if they have a deep emotional bond with the person.
Omnisexual: attraction to all genders but gender does matter, an omnisexual person will have a preference for certain gender identities (depends on the person).
Demiboy: non-binary person whose gender identity aligns with some aspects of masculinity.
Damn i really used a lot of labels that start with demi.
