I am pretty sure it’s where I want to be, I guess my only concern is that the school is so small and the town is so small and I don’t want to feel completely bored in the middle of no where. is that a vibe people tend to have?
Honestly that’s not too much of a problem. There’s enough people at the college that there’s usually something going on somewhere. And the town is small, yeah, but it is there. There’s a great antique mall, and some food that’s better than it has any right to be. Also there’s a lot of churches. Like, six. The only time I ever got really bored here was over spring break, cause I stayed and there was like, no one else here. Other than that it’s actually not that much of a problem. I miss the city and I can’t wait to get back to it, but Galesburg is not the worst place to be.
The worst place to be is Galesburg’s rival town, Monmouth. Their town center is an intersection with a gas station.
