Does anyone know what the timeline of the TWST main story is??? iirc Heartslabyul takes place in September before Ace’s birthday. Actually I think Prologue & Heartslabyul spans at least a week at max 😭😭
Savanaclaw is probably Late October… purely bcs I don’t think they’d do a school festival so early into the year
Octavinelle is like November-> Early December to me bcs it’s the midterm exam period, & idt they’d do exams right after a festival, but who knows…
Scarabia’s over winter break so December ->January
Pomefiore is probably??? somewhere around January as well?? Because I remember it was still snowing from the cutscene that Prefect has with Kalim abt his disappointment on not being a main singer. I’m betting on Late January at earliest. And Ignihyde takes place literally the night after Pomefiore 😭😭😭 This is also just guesswork based on how far up north the Sage’s Isle is, I assume the winters last longer there.
As for Diasomnia I got no clue at all 💔💔 all ik is that it should be getting warmer bcs of the reactions the characters have towards Malleus causing snow & winds to pick up… I used to think it was March but it probably isn’t 😭

There does not seem to be an official, set timeline that includes events! And, what more, there seems to be timeline-weirdness that has been inserted intentionally in order to make ensure a clean mesh of event- and main-story-content impossible to achieve (at the moment) 👀
Previous posts have touched upon things like the main story timeline overall, the overblotting timeline specifically and a potential, event-inclusive reading order (version 1 / version 2).
In the "reading order" posts there is more detail about the timeline that the game seems to have set for itself only to intentionally break, and the main two points might be Ortho and unique magics :>
First released in August of 2020, Wish Upon a Star is one of the game's earliest events. It establishes two important points that 1) Ortho is not a student at NRC and 2) the Star Rogue sequel is released.
But then we come to August of 2021 and Book 6 of the Main Story, wherein the Star Rogue sequel has yet to be released, and Ortho enrolls at NRC.
The game did not have to emphasize Ortho's lack of student-ship or the release of Star Rogue in the event, but it did, thus rendering it impossible for Wish Upon a Star and Book 6 to take place in the same timeline (as we know it) 👀
And then we have the unique magics: Deuce and Epel learn theirs in Books 5 and 6 respectively, and these magics come up again in Glorious Masquerade.
And Glorious Masquerade takes place on October 31st.
But the VDC (where Deuce learns his unique magic) and Book 6 (where Epel learns his) both take place in mid-February, and the start of the school year at NRC is in September.
This means that it is impossible for Glorious Masquerade to be before February, but equally impossible for it to be after February!
To return to the initial question: No, I do not think that there is a set timeline of the main story and events! And it is also possible that the game has been designed intentionally so that we cannot make one based on the information we have at the moment, but there are theories 👀

right so... I'm working on a twst timeline for myself
it's mostly for fics so I can get references and settings right
this includes dates and birthdays and here's the progress:
all birthdays are colour coded and highlighted by dorm
my main reference for dates has been 2020-2021 calendars so that I can reference days exactly
included a cast list for all events so that I can keep track of who's where
started from September (Prologue) and have ended in May due to the events of Book 8 taking place not only after Silver's birthday & adoption but also mentions of the tournament being in late may
not tracking ages to make things easier and less confusing but I may make a graph to track that later on for certain characters
all overblots noted down
added in 2 midterm breaks to be more realistic (1 in the 1st term, 1 in the 2ndterm)
the 1st camp Vargus event takes place February while the 2nd event takes place April
still have some cast lists and event dates to figure out, most notably:
Cloudcalling on the Savanna (Placing this in the Spring as it feels right to have it after Book 4 but I'm unsure of where it can be placed aka have it before or after Books 5&6 which I have fairly close together)
Port Fest (Have placed it in October post Leona Overblot but I'm unsure on the day just yet, have to look into it and check some things)
White Rabbit Fest (All I know is it's definitely early on, placing it in September makes the most sense just haven't picked the date yet)
Playful Land (post book 4 most likely but that part of the year is rather full and there's nothing so far to hint to where it is, my other option is Pre-Book 3 but that doesn't feel right either)
and for the events I'm not sure if I even want to include:
Vil's Red Carpet Cadets (cool card set but also the story is hard to pin point and I'm just... not that interested in the premise?)
Fairy Gala (a lotta conflicting information including the fact there's 2 versions and I'm still very limited on when it could take place for the weather to be the way it is)
Wish Upon a Star (Once again conflicting information such as there being mention of a Star Rogue sequel but it takes place before Ortho's enrolment apparently but at the same time Vil and Idia seem to have a similar relationship that I imagine them to have post book 6...? yeah gonna leave this one on the drawing board for now)
A Radiant Reenactment (Just not sure where this one goes tbh, it gives such strong post book 4 energy but idk where I could squeeze it in so honestly considering pre-book 4 and even pre-book 3)
my other option is ignore cannon and force everything into a timeline where I think it fits but for now I'm sticking to cannon closely

Anyone have any good sources other than the wiki (which I don’t fully trust) to figure out where the event stories go? (The main stories are easy enough to figure out thankfully)
I know I could reference a pre existing one but I want to write my own personal one to make it easier for me to read
