Looks like William is gonna die and come back to life next week?

Here’s a crazy prediction - looks like Scully is screwed after being shot in the neck, but we know the aliens (specifically the Alien bounty hunters) had the ability to heal any wound with a touch of the hand.  I wonder if William has the Jesus hands too and saves his mother?

I’d be down for that.

As long as we get some Mulder angst in there - can we have a moment of Mulder thinking Scully is a gonner?  k thx.

I've been SCREAMING non-stop for almost 25 years at this point....

Let's see, where to begin....

Never thought the episode would go there after the initial scene. I actually thought it was gonna be another case-file, filler ep.

When they said the boyfriend's name was Van de Kamp I thought "uh, that sounds familiar".. I recognized it about two seconds later and that was the first high-pitched screech.

Gillian's performance at the ME's office was beautifully heartbreaking. It's amazing that she can show us such character growth. She delivered the weight on the shoulders of a mother being forced to abandom her child only to be reunited with his corpse. Give this woman an Emmy, for Chuck's sake!!!! (Also on that note, if anyone is an SPN fan: did that shipyard look familiar? I swear it's the same as where the portal to The Bad Place opened...)

Now writting this I realize that William must know that Scully is his birth mother. He might have only heard her, but he was conscious the whole time so HE KNOWS. He doesn't know everything of course, but at least he knows he wasn't exactly abandoned. He was targetted for the kill since birth, she has to make a choice.

Also, what a coincidence that only Scully's DNA was conviniently tested. I mean I get it, there's no reason to believe William is anyone's but Mulder, be it using IV fertilization or old school loving, but they are going to keep us on the edge until his true paternity is revealed...

Skinner played the part real well too. As soon as he was told the dead kid was in fact William, he completely sobered up, but still did not reveal what CSM told him....

I too asumed that the Asian man was Matsumoto, but of course the Malcom X quote gave it away. If you replay the hospital encounter, it makes a lot more sense too.

We are halfway there and I'm already terrified on how this season will end... I so, so want them to have a happy ending... It think they are the most entitled in the whole history of sci-fi tv-show.... I need one happy family living in a rickety-old house...

i am on the fucking floor. i don’t think i will EVER stop crying. william DOESN’T WANT TO ENDANGER HIS BIRTH PARENTS BUT STILL MADE AN EFFORT TO TALK TO THEM BC HE’S KNOWN SCULLY MOST OF HIS LIFE THROUGH THIS VISIONS AND HE THINKS SHE SEEMS LIKE A NICE PERSON AND WANTS TO KNOW HER BETTER
