jersey devil is one of my favorite episodes because it’s the first time you see mulder actually start to desire a friendship with scully and i just love it so much as someone who develops friend-crushes/limerence a lot more than actual romantic feelings. it’s the first time someone has been nice to him and treated him like an actual person in YEARS and he just wants her to like him and be his friend soo bad. rest in peace fox mulder you would’ve loved an autism diagnosis
