His eyes took turns staring at her then to the floor as the thoughts within his head continued to scream out how much he has messed up right now. Biting the bottom of his lip he continued with the silent approach knowing Tulip was waiting for the apology he denied.
“Why don’t ya jus’ punch meh then...Instead of slappin’.”
She looked so furious, her expression was frightening yet he stood his ground. They both know now that Tulip didn’t like him one bit, and with that second kiss he pulled it was undeniable she would never change her mind.
Who could blame her actually?
Cassidy has many loose screws within that sarcastic brain of his and a past that would make any woman want to pull out his intestines and hang the vampire from them.
Huffing he finally said it,

It was beyond explanation. Mazikeen was kneeling down, completely naked if one did not count the mask which was covering half of her face. To her left there was a bucket full of cockroaches. She had already crushed three handfuls of the bugs with her bare hands and was reaching for the forth. Blood magic.
The woman that walked into her was armed and now she was pointing the gun at the Lilim. Mazikeen did not move, but she eyed the room, estimating her chances of getting out of the situation without having to sink her teeth in the woman’s flesh.
