Soobin
my shy boy~ the other boys (mainly yeonjun & beomgyu) tease him relentlessly about his feelings for you. in the quiet moments between yeonbin, yeonjun tries to encourage him to confess but he just can't! and despite soobin saying he's fine with just friendship, anyone can tell that he isn't. bro is on the verge of crashing out, containing it back with a pout, anytime someone flirts with you. and that's how it happens. one day he just can't take it anymore, he can not stand to see you giggling as somebody else throws terrible pickup lines your way. he just says it. no care for the other people around you, asks you out whiles everyone's attention is on the two of you. of course, afterwards soobin double checks that you didn't feel pressure to say yes to him. when you reassure him that your response was entirely your own, he's back to our regular shy blushing boy. his cheeks red the entire time as you guys plan your first date.
Yeonjun
tbh i don't think he hesitates to confess. not at all, whatsoever. i think yeonjun becomes aware of his feelings and the next day he's confessing. sure he's nervous, holding back the urge to vomit over your guys shoes, but junnie does not want to miss his chance or have any regrets. so instead of overthinking, he does. yeonjun pulls you to the side and says the words plain and simple "i like you". he's patient as he waits for your response. cool as cucumber on the outside but so fucking jittery on the inside. and if you need more time, then he'll give it to you cause he's not an asshole. yeonjun won't bother you about it until you're ready. it's honestly a little scary how casual he can act despite it. but when you tell him that you like him too, bros jumping for joy (might mean that literally; i can see it)
Beomgyu
as soon as gyu gains feelings for you, he's churning out all sorts of love songs. it gets so bad that the boys are begging him to confess. like it's already bad that they have to endure the two of you pining over each other but, it's even worse that they have to sing about it too. so they take matters in their own hands: they set y'all up on an date. it's something out of an 90/2000's sitcom. truly though it's a horribly disastrous first date. you leave from it feeling devastated & on the verge of tears. the boys feel terrible cause they were only trying to help. luckily beomgyu is not a quitter. he drives to your house, sneaks into backyard before doing something straight out a movie scene. beomgyu throws rocks at your window to gain your attention. and as you open your window: there he is in the moonlight, guitar in hand and singing about his feeling towards you in the dead of the night. it actually is enough to make you cry (which you do & know that gyu teases you about it afterwards. in the moment, when you're face to face, he just wipes your tears away. telling you that you don't need to cry and placing his forehead against yours). the love songs do not stop though despite the update to your relationship status, much to the boys' demise.
Taehyun
taehyun is content with his feelings. he doesn't question the development, not really. taehyun just accepts it and gets to work. thinking and planning on his steps going forward. and he's got it in his mind, the so-called perfect timing. taehyun wants to confess before summer break after they finish their set at their first festival. the 6 of you always meet up after they're done with a show (plus for such a big show, i mean you got to give them their congratulatory hugs). but when do things like this ever go as planned. taehyun ends up confessing on an impulse. you do something, laugh at joke he's made or remembered a small detail about him that he wasn't expecting you to. and the words came tumbling out his mouth before he can even think to stop them. the two of you stared in shock at each other before you ask him if he means it. when taehyun nods, you can't help but to smile and lean in.
Kai
i dont think either of you freak out upon realizing that you have romantic feelings for the other. the relationship between the two of you happens naturally. from the start, you guys just click unlike you have with anyone else. lowkey you guys are practically best friends after that 1st day. and tbh the chemistry between you & kai is so palpable to everyone and anyone. so much so, strangers often think you guys are together romantically. and even when you do become a couple, y'all are the same. your friends and families didn't even know you & kai were dating until you guys kiss in front of them. here they were betting and waiting on y'all's confession, and you guys have already beaten them to the punch. your confession follows the same path of your relationship. its neither planned or an accident, but it just happens. the two of you hanging out regularly, laughing at some inside joke or something. when you just look at each other and have to express your deeper feelings.
