When Adam bit the apple he did it because he trusted Eve. Because he loved her. Adam bit into the apple because the woman he loved told him to, no matter what God said. No matter the rules of heaven. What's heaven to a woman's love anyway? What's God to your wife? The first sins of humanity were trusting others. Eve trusted a snake, Adam trusted Eve, and I trust you. Maybe that's a sin, just like the first couple. Maybe everyone's right about us and we're sinners and we offend God. But like i said, what's God to a woman's love anyway?

Hi, I wrote a GoldenLavender (Goldenrod, to ME) drabble a hot minute ago and I figured I'd post it for Yuri Day <3

Takes place at the bar during Hollow Sorrows!

"Lila, I can literally see you sneaking!" Jaune laughs, trying to snatch away another straw that Lila keeps trying to dip into her glass. Aaron smiles from next to her with a playful shake of his head as he sips his own cocktail.

Lila likes this game; they used to try and take turns seeing how many straws they could sneak into each other's drink before they care enough to notice. Frankly, she's doing a pretty piss poor job of it.

The two of them laugh over whatever sports game is playing on the bar televisions. They're in their own little world of intoxicated stupidity. The bar is hot despite the crisp air that slips in when patrons leave and enter. Jaune swings an arm around Lila's shoulders and pulls her close to press an affectionate kiss to her cheek.

"Jauneee, not with Aaron here," Lila whines with little to no bite in it from her dying giggles.

"You know he doesn't give a fuck, babes," she reassures, pulling her closer to pepper more kisses on her cheeks. "You're literally the hottest lady in this bar, just want people to know it!"

Lila laughs again and leans her head against Jaune's shoulder. The second she feels Jaune press her cheek to her head, a straw is searching for a glass to find home in.

Aaron is chuckling again and moves Lila's straw from his cocktail and into Jaune's. He doesn't join, but the laughter and warmth is pretty contagious.

What were Anakin's thoughts/feelings toward the Chosen One Prophecy? I always thought (and still think) he harbored resentment toward it and the expectations/pressure that were put on him because of it, but I once heard Hayden Christensen say that Anakin genuinely believed he was the Chosen One.

I just reblogged a question I answered about this :) But the gist is: he was conflicted. I think part of him wanted to be believe he would/could accomplish great things (it was his childhood dream after all) but was also wary of being some sort of savior-type kind of guy. It’s just a guess, but I think fully accepting his role as the chosen one would mean also accepting all the responsibility and commitment that came it. And Anakin, having a complicated relationship with the concept of freedom, probably wasn’t ready to let go of everything he loved and wanted for the greater good, as dictated by people who didn’t seem to like him all that much.
