hi sasha! what's your favorite dnd character/npc to play?

hi jack! my favorite PC i've played thus far is probably Sir Brunor, a warforged paladin playing the role of a mascot character at a terrible medieval-themed amusement park oneshot. my roleplay style was "as earnest and as Much as possible" and "never ever breaks character (as a knight)" to the point of utter absurdity. i was really nervous to play that game 'cause i was new to the group but i ended up having so much fun and made everybody involved laugh a lot :)

i don't know if i have an absolute favorite NPC to play but i love being both Rebecca and Dave Crestpeak, the parents of one of my players. their son is an awkward nerdy sorcerer and they are both extremely intense goths who love their son fiercely. very addams family vibes. Rebecca is a prison warden and Dave is a stay-at-home dad (who will also beat people up if they bully his son).

🎵 Last song you listened to? - the last song i was forced to listen to was "the ants go marching" because the five year old was controlling the music at breakfast

🥤 What’s your go-to Starbucks order? - at starbucks specifically it's either a hazelnut shaken espresso or iced green tea. i more frequently go to coffee stands though and then i usually get a double red bull italian soda and i just let the baristas choose the flavor combo (but watermelon/mango/coconut is my latest favorite)

hmm i can’t think of anything specifically for acoc? mainly bc it isn’t a super romance-heavy season to begin with.

10) most disliked arc?

not really an arc but i think the siege on castle candy was such a lackluster finale & i wish it had been a bit more exciting lol

16) if you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

cumulous should have died in the sugar plum fairy fight so lapin could’ve come back as a revenant. i literally think abt rick perry crafting a halo for lapin’s mini mid-battle every day

25) how would you change the ending?

kind of answered above but: i would also change liam’s wish bc i think reviving keradin & belizabeth was kinda dumb lol

1. What’s your personal favorite thing you wrote this year?

probably summer’s on! even though i haven’t finished it yet. it was simply a project that i got super excited for and completely planned out in a few days. it’s also the longest fic i’ve ever written and on pace to be the longest story i’ve ever written period once i get back to it since i got so caught up between my big bang and then school/work

7. What’s your favorite piece of description or narration?

And this stings more than anything else has before. Because “no longer” implies that she was a Faeth before. It means that this was her fault. Gilear had seen something in her that she didn’t like and cast her away because of it. It’s as if he saw her teetering on the edge and decides to give her that one last push she needs to fall further than ever before.

So she falls. She fucking falls and refuses to look up to see how far away the top had been.

She picks up the bass and plays loud enough to keep Sandra Lynn up when she’s trying to sleep. She cuts off her old friends entirely because they obviously didn’t give a shit about the person she was becoming so why the hell should she keep them around? Gilear reaches out and apologizes and tries to be her fucking dad again but she pushes back, those five words etched into the back of her mind. Burn, burn, burn it all. Everything that hurt her reduced to nothing but a pile of ashes as she turns her fall into a fucking cliff dive.
