during their highschool years gregory and tony study together often. for nearly everything. they help each other study for quizzes in certain classes and make flash cards etc.
they would go on bike rides together on tonys bike, tonys pedaling and gregory has his feet on the pegs of the bike. they did this often
gregory likes skateboarding. he tried to teach tony, but tony fell and ate shit and gregory had to tend to him
continuing on from that, gregory is strangely good at tending to people. he knows what to do (as long as its not anything major) and remains relatively calm and comforting. tony on the other hand doesnt know the first thing about first aid and is kinda just slapping on whatever he can onto the wound to cover it up
also. during their highschool years is when tony finally puts together two and two regarding his feelings for gregory. and its when he’s hanging out with ellis. tony is quiet and in his head and ellis just assumes tony is stressing over a project or class assignment, and after enough asking tony finally breaks and tells ellis he likes gregory. ellis is just wondering how it took tony that long to figure out
gregory is both clueless and picking up on tonys subtle moves towards him and trying to court him. he has a feeling theres something going on but he doesnt want to assume so he doesnt look too far into it. and it kills tony because hes like “why doesnt gregory just realize!!” because hes still in that mindset of people can magically read his mind and know what he wants. meanwhile ellis is trying to encourage tony to be more direct and actually say how he feels instead of automatically assuming people, or gregory, will get the memo
tony has many drawings of gregorys that he has collected over the years since they were 12 and eventually when they are both adults they look back through them together. same goes for letters from tony to gregory
gregory had blue streaks in his hair once and tony thought it was the most badass thing ever. he loved the blue and kept asking gregory if he’d ever do it again

post ggy tony would come over to gregorys place often if he just needed a place to go to, to get away from everything. gregory has a lovely family and it makes tony feel more at home than hes ever been
they both have scars that sometimes gets too hard to tend to, so the other will tend to it for them
TY RORY THESE ARE ALL SO REAL FOSHIFHR. the bike riding. I'm dying that's so cute. and YES to the skateboard thing Tony would absolutely eat shit. Gregory is somehow super good at things but so bad at not getting cuts and knicks in his skin so he always has at least one bandaid on 😭 he would def know how to clean wounds and tend to Tony and feel just a little bit panicked at having to bandage him up but he shoved it down
when they get older they both grow into themselves more but Tony stays kinda 'average' in his words, he's just more comfortable wearing certain clothes and colors and stuff and keeping his hair a certain way. but Gregory doesn't and has it shorter sometimes and longer sometimes and dyes streaks in it. tony would be starry eyed at any time he changes his appearance with hair dye or clothes and stuff. he just kinda marvels one day over how it used to be a difficult feat for Gregory to be Gregory and for Tony to see him and find him, but now he's just watching him become more and more himself every day
beckory sharing scar gel. tony gets jittery and frazzled feeling over touching any scars he got from the ggy attack and insists Gregory does it for 'exposure therapy' to himself. he can shut his eyes and just trust his own instincts that who's next to him is Gregory and not ggy. he revels in the feeling of being cared for by him after losing it for a few years from his family. he becomes touch starved and more reactive over gestures from Gregory that he cares and loves tony. Gregory touches tony more often to remind him of this, touching his hair and shoulder and leaning against him and hugging him more. it becomes second nature to them
AHH YES that's one of my biggest ones. Gregory and 3 star fam gave Tony that family and care and love he was missing for a while. they helped him feel human again and like things were possible and the world wasn't bleak in dull colors bc of how everyone else around him acted. he feels so warm and content when he's with them, Gregory is his home
KFHEJD tony would absolutely overthink his own feelings so much and worry about what he and Gregory are and what Gregory would think about talking about it and if labels even matter and also their identities and stuff since he's actually pretty familiar with queer identities and stuff. he'd be afraid of disrupting what they have and know that what they have is special, but it makes it even more scary to think about what it means. eventually Tony does bring it up to Gregory and he just says that labels shouldn't matter. they should just be them, unless he really wants one. tony says no when they're teens and they keep going as normal, getting more romantic as time goes on and they get older. to them both their relationship goes deeper than any standard labels could ever convey. but eventually as they get older and do things like get married they become more comfortable using a traditional label in front of others like strangers and acquaintances and letting themselves know that they're more than that. and their family and friends understand already
their matching jewelry would be bracelets for eachother <:) Gregory puts his on the same wrist as his fazwatch and tony puts his on his right wrist bc it's his dominant hand (like Gregorys left is his)
