Although he might not show it, Tyar was actually pretty dedicated in his studies at the Jedi Temple. While hardly scholarly, and undoubtfully someone who found more enjoyment in athletic pursuits, he was far from lazy when it came to the more academic aspects of Jedi life.

Tyar’s helmet was specifically made for him by Sith engineers and armorcrafters. It comes equipped with several backup systems in case his oxygen intake is ever compromised, and in combat will filter in kolto gas to aid his body in case he sustains any injuries.

Most of the other students didn’t know Tyar was a former Jedi when he arrived on Korriban. Only Tremel knew, and that fact died with him, for a time.

Daily Random Character Facts: Day 150

Although he has a fair amount of dark side corruption, I usually play Tyar with it off. It doesn’t look that great on cathar imo except for rare cases - @peacemaker-legacy actually recently uploaded a photo of a really cool one - and it definitely does not work for Tyar. Particularly I don’t like how it changes his fur from black to grey, and his eyes from red to yellow.

Neither of the two lightsabers Tyar wields are of his own making. Both were lifted from foes he defeated in the past. The sole lightsaber he created has long since been destroyed.
