Thanks for dragging me into a new fandom n giving me angst. :))))) As someone who only watched the anime (planning on the manga soon-ish), i've always wondered about the village. There're like 30-40ish ppl there? But there's only 6 'originals' to repopulate the world? N 2 of them died before having children?? Is there any other hatched ppl before senkuu&co or do 'original's kids married each other??

For the village, well actually Darya and Yakov did have kids before they left for Japan to get antibiotics (and died on the way), so all six of them had children that eventually formed Ishigami Village.
/SPOILER/ - Not all of their descendants moved back to Japan, some of them stayed on the island that they originally landed on, which will become part of the plot later on. As for Ishigami Village, idk the population, 40 could be a good estimate? But apparently there was a famine shortly before Kohaku was born so there used to be more people than the current numbers, it’s just that food shortages and lack of agriculture knowledge resulted in starvation for a lot of them./SPOILER/
But anyway, as far as I know, Senkuu was the first of the modern-era to break free of the stone, so I guess for your question, yeah all of them if you trace back 3700 years, were descended from one of those first three bloodlines, and the fact that they didn’t die out means that they had to have married each other.
