thinking about the atla teens polycule. ty lee is the hinge of the polycule, which is actually a big circle. on her right is suki, who’s holding hands with sokka, who has zuko, who has mai, who (depending on how her mental health is) is holding azula, who’s holding ty lee, although ty lee is also dating mai, and mai is also interested in suki.

modern Gaang in california

I’ve had these hc’s for awhile so I decided to write them and see if anyone would actually like them

Modern Gaang California

they live in the suburbs of san diego

there is still bending and chi blocking 

appa is a great bernard and momo is a flying lemur still because aang is ✨the avatar so he can✨

zuko and azula still live with their dad but zuko runs away a lot to iroh’s and does a lot of sleepover with the gaang members to be away from home

aang lives with gyatso because I said he’s alive and I don’t know what else i would do with aang

every year in the summer the gaang drives up to the city to spend a week in a vrbo or fancy resort (zuko funds all their expensive stuff with his dad’s money, toph too).

yue is still alive here, and is a competitive figure skater

katara is super into tennis, and she’s also a equestrian

suki does softball, skiing, and tessenjutsu

she also runs in her free time (she’s a beast)

sokka surfs

aang golfs (I’m sorry but I feel like he would)

he just screams beach bum I’ll do a aesthetics hc too but that’s it for now

toph does soccer but she god banned after using earthbending to cheat 

now she does rock climbing in the national parks near san diego she also made herself a cliff to practice with

ty lee does volley ball that’s how she and azula got close their dad’s are also close as is mai’s and she does acrobatics (canon I know)

azula plays volleyball, but also soccer, because it’s really aggressive (she would be a captain but she is a little unstable still)

mai doesn’t do after school activities but she still knife throws

ty lee’s depop is huge and she lowkey makes a lot of money off it

they all go to the same school and aang moved to their city this year I’ll divulge it more later
