thinking about the atla teens polycule. ty lee is the hinge of the polycule, which is actually a big circle. on her right is suki, who’s holding hands with sokka, who has zuko, who has mai, who (depending on how her mental health is) is holding azula, who’s holding ty lee, although ty lee is also dating mai, and mai is also interested in suki.

so i run a sideblog ( @atla-hcs-and-bakoda ), and i have a post in the queue about Izumi’s parents from my 20-years-post-war AU. So, i made a graph.

i colored them by looking at pictures of them and shifting the colors around until they looked as close as i could get them, so apologies if they look off. This is my first time drawing chibi heads, and my first time drawing any of them, so 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, Izumi is 14 in this au and going through her Punk Hair-Dyeing phase, and Zuko & Sokka decided to dye a streak of their hair in punk solidarity. One for water tribe, one for fire nation. (her moms would dye their hair too, but they dont for a few personal reasons.)

(also i might post some half-thought out atla daydreams i had a few weeks ago while i was trying to sleep)
