Latest Marvel Type Drawing update! In my last post I showcased a few finished Type Drawings I did of some beloved Marvel comic book characters. Here are all 56 of the completed pieces. This was such a fun project to do because learned so much about these characters and their back stories. @

It's FINISHED! I finished my Guardians of the Galaxy type drawing! It's been painted, trimmed and framed. I really enjoyed doing this piece so much! I think it's my favorite piece that I've done so far.

After 2 days of a terrible case of creative block I made this awesome piece of Whovian art. Here’s my newest type piece! I’m so excited about this one because it combines two of my favorite things: typography and Doctor Who! I wanted to include some pictures of the process of this piece from a pencil sketch to some of the type being added and then the final piece with no color. For the type I used some information I found about the show and specifically about the Eleventh Doctor. I can’t wait to add color to this piece because that's when it will really feel complete.

Art Update- I finally finished the text portion of this type drawing! Yay! For those who haven't seen my previous post, this piece is beach themed and I'm using lyrics to songs by the Beach Boys. The next step is to paint it with watercolor.

I haven't uploaded a type drawing in awhile so here is a piece I'm currently working on at the moment. I've never shown an in progress drawing before. The words may be a little hard to read because of the pencil marks. I'm doing a beach theme and I'm using all songs by the Beach Boys.
