if you could have any view from your bedroom window what would you choose? 

Oh man, anything?? I already have a nice view from my window, it’s got hella trees and in the winter I can see the river. I might like to see the ocean, though, or perhaps a field of horses.

what’s your favorite thing to do on a sunny day? 

I go for walks along the river and in the cemetery near my house when it’s nice, and also sometimes when it’s not nice. Last week was really lovely, warmer than usual, and I went to the cemetery and fell asleep in a pile of leaves for a little while, which is probably the most goth thing I’ve ever done.

what do you consider lucky? 

I’m not sure. I don’t really believe in lucky numbers/objects/stuff, and luck is mostly people looking for patterns imo. That said, I tend to associate certain things with confidence, usually articles of clothing and jewelry. I wear necklaces so I have something to fiddle with when I’m anxious, which is all the time, so my whale tail and my hamsa and my ankh aren’t lucky as such but they’re definitely comforting.

what made you smile today? 

My dog bonked her head into my door to open it this morning and when I woke up she was asleep next to my bed, so I had to pet her to wake her up so I could get to the shower.

what makes you happy?

Obvious answer: books. Objects allowed to function in their intended/ideal capacity. Dogs, always and without question.

my most recent work in progress was a weird modal melody for music class and i dont know what a sentence is in music because like most music classes my sophomore music class of yore was like no that makes no sense lets skip that part of the manual and anyway i guess the last sentence in my WIP is something like "doooo do do doo do-do-do doooooooooo do dooooo"

oh my lord I do NOT miss music papers, probably because I have not a single musical bone in my wormy body.

oh man this makes me sound so pretentious, but I really really like Go. I can’t play chess for beans, but I loooove Go even though I am basically terrible at it.

Hats........ I don’t really wear them often? Berets are good, and I have an obligatory goth huge black sunhat so I guess ???

“Books are bloodless substitutes for life.” idk where it came from but I definitely didn’t generate it myself. I’ve wanted it as a tattoo for aaaaages.

43: Describe your favorite article of clothing you own. 

ok ok okkkkk this changes a lot and is v subjective, but my most comforting garment is my shitty symbols hoodie; it’s just a huge black zip-up hoodie I’ve bleached eyes of horus into, and stitched on a big hamsa backpatch that ultima made me and generally it’s just ratty and soft and good to hide in. You’ve definitely seen it before.

48: Describe a time you felt alive. 

WHEN BILL HANDED ME THE ORIGINALS OF THE GAY VICTORIAN LETTERS I’VE BEEN WORKING WITH OH MY GOD I SWEAR MY BLOOD WAS DIAMONDS IN THAT INSTANT. I could have cried. Being around the 1880 and previous collection in general makes me feel more deeply at home and calm than almost anything else, really.

Well I can't possibly match Megan's offering but I'd say either your hair (maybe I just always notice people's hair but yours is curly so double notice I guess?) or your like... There's this sort of grace or poised-ness. Like you know that thing cats do when they sit up all proper and then sort of turn their head to the side to look at you and they become a living incarnation of motion-as-it-were-in-a-spiral yeah it's sort of like that except you don't literally twist your neck around

Hedwig (What kind of animal would you bring to Hogwarts)- This question has always seemed like a no-brainer because owl = mail?? I guess if I was going for a cuddly option I’d go for rat because I’m allergic to cats, but ultimately owl is the way to go .

Hagrid (what is your favorite mythical creature)-SELKIES 

Lupin (if you could transform into any one animal or creature what would it be)- I just had a little meltdown about this IRL, but ORCAS because OCEANS and ECHOLOCATION and PODS.
