I don’t even know what suddenly inspired me to go on this craze but like...I’m glad whatever it was happened. I started out just dieting and taking walks, and then it moved to me walking about 7 miles a day, then it was power walking 7 miles a day...
Then I found out my job actually PAYS for our gym membership so like. Its free. I HAVE ZERO excuses at this point. So I go to the gym before work now for about an hour and do what I can there, and then after the work day I usually swing by my friend’s house and take her up to the pond that’s near us with a walking trail and we’ll walk that a few laps (( while catching asstons of magikarp on pokemon go )) for a little extra exercise as well. So I’ve really come a long way -- the hardest part is like, not getting the immediate results. I feel like I’m doing so much and I wanna see so much more, but I can’t let it get to me. I’ve made a good life decision here and I need to stick with it.
If for no other reason then the fact that it has helped me SO MUCH with my depression. I used to laugh at people that said exercise helped with depression but...wow. That’s been the thing I’ve noticed most of all.
