His name is Aleksander--that’s one fave point already--and he looks like Brett Connolly but without the sarcasm. He looks like every guy I’ve met in a rural gas station buying a Snickers and fueling up his four wheeler. He looks like he would warn me about bad road conditions ahead when he didn’t even have to.

The red jersey works for him. I couldn’t find an exact match I liked, but I loved this similarly saturated rosy-red gown by Madame Grès. In thick silk taffeta, it has a circle skirt and a bodice that from the front has big bold butterfly-wing shoulders.

From the back, you realize the top’s actually a doughnut-shaped bib thing with a plunging hem and a bow at the small of the back, because what I understand about the Panthers is that they keep you on your toes.
