Along with The Light of Caelum I will be taking a wing (get it) at a 3D open world game. This is going to take a VERY long time, but I wanted to give a taste of the concept.
Tytopia is an open world game where the player can walk and fly through stylized landscapes as an owl they can customize. Among the trees, mountains, and plains you can place a home and decorate your nest with various items. Throughout the world are bird villages and merchants who will offer wares and quests. The game will gave no lives and is meant to be a peaceful, relaxed game where the player can sit back and enjoy the wonders of the environment.
I'm considering an online multiplayer mode where players can chat and play minigames together. This would take place in a different area of the world specifically for this function.
The other mode would work as a LAN world where friends can play together in the main world and explore together.
When I am further in I will most likely open up a kickstarter for help.
That is all I have so far, but if you would like to throw in any suggestions please comment!
