tzietel (it/its) was once human- up until very recently, when a job guarding a magical artifact with its partner bastien went desperately wrong. confronted by a team of six theives, the two attempted to fight back, and in the skirmish a stray transformation spell zapped tzietel, turning it into a housecat-sized, six-limbed flatworm. bastien and it are now on a mission to find a remedy for this curse, but as time wears on its beginning to think that it might prefer to stay this way…

what are moletaurs ?

OK I... *THINK* U MEANT MONKTAURS but i remembered having done a couple of moletaurs while in outpatient a few months ago and i dug into my treatment sketchbook to find them. so ill put some some roughly mole-adjacent taurs of my fursona that Really arent all that mole-like under the cut at the bottom

anyways. "monktaur" is mostly just a shortening of "monkey taur" that i use for the currently unnamed story that ive been working on with my girlfriend @cuteghosts :3 i thought i had put some comics i did that cover a bit of worldbuilding for this up here but i guess i didnt?? so. i suppose ill just stick them all here for now

monktaurs primarily live on a small island in the center of an immensely deep lake; the surrounding land is covered in a thick rainforest (the area/culture is inspired by that of the amazon river basin!). they cant reproduce on their own, and instead are rarely born to humans living in the surrounding towns. when this happens, the townspeople gather at the shore of the lake, and send the newborn across, swaddled tightly and placed in a small boat. the monktaurs of the island wait on the other side to receive the child.

bento-dulce (the infant in the comic) is the most recent royal heir of the island, signified by her blue mouth (and other things but in the context of the comic thats the easiest way to tell). shes based on a golden lion tamarin, and her adoptive father, the current king liberato-renzo, is based on a cotton top tamarin!!

he kind of sucks and i like him quite a lot

the following comics are in chronological order and follow each other pretty directly; theyre not too heavily About the monktaurs and their island but i think they give a relatively good idea of some parts of the worldbuilding, as well as the dynamics between bento-dulce and his childhood best friend mateo, who has his own stuff going on. plus theres a snake

i didnt end up continuing with this series of comics at the time but im currently cogitating on the next one(s)

and these pages i did recently give some more info on the snake god of the island, as well as rehashing some of the information about bento-dulce and her father, and touching on the lich and her father, rosa.

theres more than a few taurs and anthros and such in this world, as well as quite a few humans!! and they all have their own deals going on too that i want to write and make art about. but for now the monktaur island and its characters are probably the most fleshed out gdkhgdkd

they are NAWT very mole like. i can do better. but my sona is technically a mole and these are more in line with that
