What really is Demisexuality?
The the standard definition of “demisexual” is “someone who only feels sexually attracted to someone they have close emotional bond with.” I’ve also heard the description “it doesn’t exist, it’s just called not being a hoe.”
The latter belief comes from a misconception that “feeling sexually attracted to someone” and “actually wanting to have sex with someone” are not the same thing.
I am a person who struggles to connect with and trust people in general. Because of this, I don’t like the idea of having sex with someone who I don’t feel emotionally safe with. But, despite this, I still have plenty of experience with feeling sexually attracted to celebrities and hot strangers. Due to this, I am definitely not demisexual.
Not wanting to have sex with people I’m not bonded with is an intention/belief.
Not having sexual attraction to a person one is not bonded with is an innate feeling.
So, yes, demisexuality does exist. It’s an actual sexuality, not just a practice.
🏳️🌈Pride Month Compilation🏳️🌈
#Shareyourpride
Day 14🏳️🌈: Favorite LGBTQIA+ meme
I don't know if this is considered a meme but I stand by it. I found it here, on Tumblr, but I don't know the account who made it. I'm sorry. Credits to the owner.
Day 15🏳️🌈: Favorite LGBTQIA+ ship
When I have to decide something I never remember anything, but because I love sailor moon since I was a kid, I remembered this one. :)
✨Haruka and Michiru✨
Then we have Pearl and Rose. They're not my favorite but I wanted to share my sadness for Pearl.
Day 16🏳️🌈: Favorite LGBTQIA+ TV moment
I don't watch a lot of TV so I am not remembering any special moments, but I liked the scenes from F.R.I.E.N.D.S where Carol and Susan showed up.
Day 17🏳️🌈: Favorite LGBTQIA+ video game moment
I don't think I had a favorite moment but... Life is Strange.... This game gave me a different vibe, it was kind of nostalgic.
Day 18🏳️🌈: Tag someone cute or nice

Day 13 of pride month🏳️🌈: When did you realize that you weren't straight
I knew that I wasn't straight when I noticed that my relationship with my best friend felt different than the other friendships and when I noticed that they were more than a friend to me.
After this I already had my doubts about my sexuality but after some time stressing, I would just ignore them and decide that it wasn't a big deal. But I knew that even though I always denied my thoughts, my doubts and maked up excuses for myself, deep down I knew that I was part of this community and that I had fallen in love with them.
Day 12 of pride month🏳️🌈: Remembering Orlando
I wish to all the victims families my condolences. And to all that have lost someone dear or that is suffering for being yourself... I am truly, truly sorry.
I hope that nobody has to go through something like this again.
A memorial for the 49 people killed in the Pulse nightclub shooting.
None of the pictures are mine. I found the first one in this site:
During PRIDE month, we reflect on the 49 lives lost in the Orlando PULSE nightclub shooting on June 12, 2016. Our thoughts are with the fa
(I had to crop it because I wasn't able to download it with my phone).
Day 10🏳️🌈: Favorite lgbtqia+ cliché you identify with
I don't know if this is still considered a stereotype or a cliché, but yes, I do listen to "Sweater Weather", by The Neighbourhood and I cuff my jeans.
