Pro tip: if it makes my life easier (eg holding the door for me when I’m right behind you), it’s nice. If it makes my life harder (eg trying to insist that I sit in your car while you toddle all the way around to open a lousy door for me, which means I have to wait that much longer to get inside and change into sweats after a long and wretched day at work) it’s fucking annoying and I don’t want you to do it. 👍
