he breathes in sharply as he catches a glimpse of her face,   pushing himself to come close enough.   a fuck nearly escapes his lips, but he presses them together with cruelty like a moth.   has it been two months?   three?   four?   he could imagine it clear as he stood there, three feet away from her:   Theo opens the door to be greeted with a quick red-lipped creature, they stare at each other for a while, and the story he thought had ended reveals a pause.   he never dared to imagine it from her side;   it would've been much too easy to fall into own day dreams, and end up drowning. 

without another thought, he makes his way around the bar to the spot he occupied many nights, now, too, cold and lifeless.   his tongue twists, because there's nothing more clever that he can produce than,   ❛  your usual? ❜
